More crazy 'film students' blogging from mommy's basement? That is how I characterize the 'sources inside the McCain campaign.' Can't these wacky kids get a little more creative? Like pretend they are disaffected stylists or pi$$y ex-Secret Service...the wannabe 'insiders' gig is getting old.

I love the PDS 'outbursts' that come everytime the Governor is in the media. Wow...she has them worried. Well done Governor!

“Look, she wasn’t ready for this, obviously”

And THAT’s the kind of snooty, stuffed shirt impression of some in the Republican party that I can’t stand.

Governor Palin is my kind of leader, so much so that I’m considering moving up to Alaska. Must be something in that fresh air up there.

Maybe in a few days McCain will go on an entertainment show and discuss it.

*snicker*

The quote that heads this thread is misleading. Here is what the author refers to a representative quote(I have no idea what that is):

This is a representative quote from someone from McCain world holding that view: “Look, she wasn’t ready for this, obviously. Their job was to make her ready for this and they failed. So they unloaded on her. If they had an iota of loyalty to John McCain, they wouldn’t have done it.”

I already have seen the "Anti - Sarah" contingent on FR hard at work.

Yes, and the anti-Romneyites as well.

here’s the debate transcript

It’s very easy to beat biden. He has a long record and she does not. I don’t think she got him that hard.

There would be a reason to be anti-Romney on FR, he’s a lib. There is no reason to be anti-Palin here, she’s a conservative.

I prefer people would speak on the record if they have such political backbiting and snapping to engage in.

And put publications like The Star and The Enquirer out of business?????

Anti-capitalist!!!!!!

If its on the Internet, it must be true.

LOL

Backbiting and backstabbing have always been the top games in politics, and will contiue to be, as long as we have politicians.

We ain't seen nothin' yet:
Obama will show the Clintons how the politics of personal destruction and scorched earth really are done.

Governor Palin is just one woman. What we need are scores (hundreds) of Palin-type leaders who actually believe in conservatism and prove it by living it in the personal lives. Out of a 300 million citizen country, there must be many more like her.

Obama has what it takes!!!

He is an weak cypher with few morals, have no individual goals other than self gratification - who can be manipulated well by those who seek power and redesign of the USA.

Palin on the other hand cannot. She thrives on responsible behavior and acquisition of knowledge, with the end result in good governance for all.

She is excellent and dangerous to those who seek the demise of our success and abundance.

McCain and his people know their chance for power has slipped away. Not withstanding his Leno moment

After he locked up the nomination, McCain began to realize he would lose his comradery with his friends across the aisle and his friends in the media. Johnny loved being on those Sunday morning talk programs. Johnny loved being the Maverick of the Senate. Johnny loved being the spearhead of those various senate gangs.

I don't think Johnny Mc really wanted to give all that up. So, he became more interest in 'running' for the presidency than in trying to 'win' the presidency.

Was McCain ready? No.

Was the GOP ready? No.

So don’t go blaming it on someone you guys picked.

I agree, fixating just on Sarah at this point isn’t good.

But she has a decade of successful executive experience in government, she’s an incredibly good campaigner and a charismatic communicator with an at least passably Reaganesque political compass. Not bad.

The opposition is always going to try to demonize and ruin our best natural leaders, and too often we buckle under by saying, ‘okay, well, we must be able to find someone else who isn’t damaged goods’. That, I submit, is a losing response to their vicious politicking. We need to hang tough like she is, and not appear to go along with their framing of our best candidates.

Palin: “Sure you can John... you betcha! How did that McCain/Feingold thing workout at keeping all of the money out of politics John?

that wouldn’t be very mavericky though
