I'm not a McCain campaign staffer, but I can leak this little tidbit about the person at the top of the ticket: Look, he wasnt serious about this, obviously.

Somebody should send Lowrys name over to Red State so that they can add him to the lepers list.Consider it done.

I still think it was Nicole Wallace who was the back
stabber despite Chris Wallace's absolution.

NO, NO, NO, NO, this cannot be?! Bring on those suffering from Romney Derangement Syndrome to set us straight! There can never be enough conjecture on FR. We need more!

Does anyone know who Nicole Wallace’s husband is? I read a few weeks ago that he was one of three people who prepped Palin for the debate. Given Nicole Wallace’s history and friendship with Katie Couric, I think Mr. Wallace may be the operative or at least one of the operatives responsible for the lies against Palin. What do you think?
I think we just need to call them out and have them own up to their opinions they shared with Carl Cameron. We know they are cowards but I don’t want to see them working on another Republican campaign. We can’t afford this distraction and disrespect.

fewer sniveling loser weasels in the GOP. Can we start with dumping Yosemite Sam?
If there ever was a more pathetic campaign, no theme, no plan, no focus and lets not forget, pathetic candidate, than Yosemite Sam's I haven't seen it. My guess is his staff realizes no one will ever hire them again, for good reason I might add.
The other guy, well that just proves it's really easy to make moron voters out of ignorant people. Where is my free gas?

Gov. Palin was the most competent, grounded person on either ticket. Yes she was.
It is sad, but I already have seen the "Anti - Sarah" contingent on FR hard at work.
What I find ironic is these are most likely the same folks who stayed home on Election Day , and now will bit** the most about the *O* in the White House!

Makes perfect sense that the communications people, who are closest to the press, are the backstabbers, while the policy guys remained in the back of the bus with Palin prepping her on foreign policy.
And I too think that Nichole Wallace is the prime backstabber in chief.

Sounds like some people are scared of Sarah that me and Dems as well as Repubs..Scared that she will come back in 2012 and clean their clock..These goons know this woman is the only one that got McCain as far as he got..his rating were in the toilet until Sarah came along..I am starting a fund for her when she wants to run for president..I will give as much as I can then I will give the same amount to my children to give to her.As for the pathetic idiots that called her names and wanted to make her look foolish well i have one word for them, and that is “Pathetic”..

McCain and his people know their chance for power has slipped away. Not withstanding his Leno moment, he couldn't care less what happens to Gov. Palin. McCain is in survival mode and he will kiss who's ever a** it takes to keep his badly bruised standing within Wash. DC's elite.

McCain: “I know how to get things done... I know how to reach across the isle and work together on an agenda. May I remind you of McCain/Feingold and McCain/Kennedy”?
Palin: “Sure you can John... you betcha! How did that McCain/Feingold thing workout at keeping all of the money out of politics John? How much did you have to spend the last 2 months of the election John? How much did obama have to spend John? See what reaching across the isle will get you John”?
This is just one little look at how that debate would go. I have got a million of them!

The Obamabots line on Obamas experience is laughable.
What really made it laughable was that Team Obama seriously claimed that his 2 years of running for the presidency were viable experience that qualified him to be president.
Team McCain would have responded, except that they were sitting quietly in the shade, sipping on their mint julips and Shirley Temples.

Lowry is a Paulson-bot.Lowry is a nobody bot. He calls 'em like he sees 'em.
Is everyone supposed to think exactly like you, and despise everyone you despise, or you call them names.
This type of accusatory vindictiveness is gonna drive the GOP further into the ground, and ensure that NO ONE wants to be involved.

Obviously McCain has no first principles, they sure didn't show up during the campaign, did they. McCain just wants his old seat back on Meet The Press, and sticking it to Gov Plain is how he thinks that will happen.

McCain’s campaign would have had next to no one for their rallies if Palin hadn’t been on the ticket. As it was, she brought excitement and volunteers to the campaign that never would have materialized had Romney, Pawlenty or some other colorless George Bush-like apparatchik been selected as VP candidate.
