Think for a minute about the Revolutionary and Civil Wars. The weaponry on both sides were equal. Neither side had an extraordinary advantage re: technology and weaponry. Nowadays, there is absolutely no way such a war could happen. Our military is too far advanced, and unless it massively switched sides, there is no opposing force anywhere near it. Worst case scenario — I’d just have to figure out how to liquidate as much as possible and then move to another country. Obama has our urban lands in his sights, so even somewhere in the hills of South Dakota or Montana might not be a safe haven.

We should demand accountability regardless of party.

So, that means you're also ready to go after the Clintons, Barney Frank, Edward Kennedy, Obama, Tom Harkin, Harry Reid, Nancy Pelosi, John Murtha, etc. etc. etc. etc.

All I can say, Bush better not be found to have taken a roll of toilet paper with him, they will crucify him. But then he was so weak in handling the thievery of the Clinton Gang, it probably would be fitting to throw the book at him.

Actually I would say Bush was completely non-existent in handling any thievery by the Clinton gang. Bush allowed the US Justice dept to softly slap Sandy Burger's hand for outright obstruction & theft of national security documents, with what, a fine & a misdemeanor, I believe. What a pandering, appeasing, capitulating coward Bush was.

I despise ObuckaBama with a passion, but I almost would love to see him go after that pandering capitulating Bush, and to convict and imprison GW Bush, in a cell right next to Ramos or Compeon.

“, the third party voters who assisted Obama and the stay at home all or nothing cry baby conservatives. You own this debacle lock, stock and barrel. This is your train crash coming. I voted McCain as flawed as he was because he was better than Obama.”

Perhaps you should pull your head out of your rear end and think about what exactly would motivate 66 million Americans to vote for a Marxist presidential candidate. What kind of federally funded government school system would produce so many amoral, confused uneducated voters? What do you plan to do to reel them in come 2012 - move even further to the left?

Or maybe you should point a finger a some of the tens of thousands of useful idiots who crossed over during the primaries to vote for Obama, increasing his primary victories and vote totals. I know MANY Republicans here in Texas who did this. They virtually handed the Republican party over to the crooked establishment.

Or you could point a finger at the current occupant of the Ovaloffice - one of the least popular in recent history - whose conduct in office has arguably been a complete disaster for conservatism. Didn’t Sarah Palin allude to that, albeit in a more diplomatic way?

In reality, the debacle we are facing TRULY belongs to the (wicked) pragmatist Republicans who compromise on principle, the disobedient Christians who ignore God’s laws and the Constitution, and thoroughly unGodly and uncourageous conservatives who can’t find their way to a primary voting site AND vote their conscience AND ignore the media and its polls while doing so.

I do.

The United States of America committed suicide on November 4, 2008 at 7:00 local time.

There will be no civil war because on their list of wants, freedom is so far down the list it of most voters that it cannot be seen with the Hubbel telescope.

Free health care, free abortions, and free money rules the list.

By the time the next election cycle comes around the Democrats plan to flood the Nation with the same type parasites that elected Obama.

So far as investigations and trials go, the Republicans are about to learn the hard way that the losers don’t get to try the winners.

If the Republicans had acted when they had the White House and both Houses of Congress we may not be in this situation now.

A complete vindication of “reaching across the aisle,” and “compassionate” “conservatism.”

“THERE WILL BE NO CIVIL WAR.
Not a single one of you Internet Rambo’s will pull a trigger at another American.”

Your point is well taken.

Do you think - if coming confrontations get dicey enough - that the U.S. military will “pull the trigger” on groups of militantly conservative Americans? With the video cameras turned on?

“Bush has the goods on Bambi in his back pocket.”

“Very doubtful. I am really starting to wonder if any one on “our side” is even in the business of getting the goods anymore. Sure doesn’t seem like it. “

Check with Mossad.
I’ll bet that THEY know....

Looks like a slow night at DU and Daily Kaos!!

So you are all for impeaching President Bush, Vice-President Cheney, et al for violating the Constitution, then—heading off to the Hague to have them all tried for war crimes against humanity PLUS murder for those millions of deaths they allegedly caused, then when they are found guilty (because the trials would be mere kangaroo ones anyway) to have them hung publicly on television so the world can see justice done??

LOL. Maybe I should fake a DU membership and go over there and praise everything President Bush, Vice-President Cheney et al have done—then sit back and watch DUmmie heads explode!

Man! If I could find a cure for rampant, raging BDS I’d be a trillionaire, LOL!!!!! :-)

Sort of reminds a person what took place when France decided to behead all their old royalty.

Folks, before the Democrats are through we will have blood shed in the streets.

They need this as cover for the next few years while they are cratering the economy and the country in general.

They need a bogeyman to blame everything on while we are eating sawdust to survive.

I’m sick and tired of the hammering of Bush, including from our side. Granted, he’s made mistakes, as has every president. Granted, we spent too much, although much was simply to deal with the America-hating democrats and get them to help fund the fight against terrorism. But I am thankful we’ve had an adult who loves America running things the last 7 years and 10 months. He put his country before himself in going to Iraq, as he knew it could cost him the presidency in 2004. With the media looking through every crack and crevice of this administration for scandal, the best they could come up with was the pathetic manufacturing of the Valerie Plame nonsense. Thank you for your dedication and diligence, George W. Bush, and I will almost always defend you.
