WASHINGTON (Map, News) - A Republican congressman from Georgia is calling President-elect Obama a Marxist and warning that he might be planning to form a Gestapo-like security force so he can rule as a dictator.
Two-term Rep. Paul Broun of Athens cited a July speech that has circulated on the Internet in which Obama called for a civilian force to take some of the national security burden off the military.

I guess decades is correct. Two at least. Hard to say just where the milestone was passed but it was definitely back there somewhere.
God had a task for the US to accomplish and that was to develop the tech to get His Word broadcast around the globe and it was accomplished. All have heard or are innocent huddling in a dark jungle somewhere.
Lately I’ve been pondering the teachings of Jesus regarding the chasm/contrast between ‘this world’ and the spiritual world. Also passages sprinkled through the Apostle’s writings about the spirit. Being in the spirit. God IS Spirit and will be worshipped in spirit.
Obviously there is a wholly other realm in which God dwells and we are cut off from except through Jesus The Messiah. I witnessed so much BS going on in Charismatic churches that I spent decades confused and turned off to phony demonstrations of ‘spiritual’ behavior. Silly women falling out in the isles and such. Not much impressed with the imaginings of my mind and seeing that most other so called ‘gifted’ Christians were very confused.
But the whisper of God does often trickle through my mind these days. Perhaps because the raging blood of youth is long calmed. “ A bruised reed will he not break. A smoking flax will He not quench. “ Those called by His name will know what is coming.
Those who reject him are coming into His Wrath and the world has never seen it before.
