America Held Hostage- the Obama Files...
With a hattip to Rush ( His idea during the Clinton plague upon America ) I am starting a file on The One, mostly starting from the election date.
Older stuff- links, quotes, quips, and sometimes pointed graphics can be found by scrolling back from these two posts:
-Hillary Clinton- archives, comments, and opposition research--
-Sarah Palin- links, from the beginning--
There is some good material in those posts that raises a lot of uncomfortable questions that everyone ought to be asking, and probably will once the new wears off, and we are stuck with four ( more likely eight, since 95% of the news & entertainment media are in his pocket ) years of a typical corrupt Chicago Political Machine Politician trying to jerk the whole country in one direction and then the next.
You've all heard the saying,
People get the kind of government they want...
...and deserve?
Well, America, you are about to get it, good & hard...
Don't say you weren't warned- we tried to tell you...
We did everything we could, and our state went for the Old Guy & the Naughty Librarian, but too many other voters were made stupid by the TV and public schools for it to matter.
We're in a Hell of a mess, and the worst thing is, "we"- the collective we, not you & I-- got us here.
Is Obama really the Abyss...
staring back at us?
I like to make points with humorous graphics- this one sums it up as well as any:
Then, in a nutshell, "everything I see going bad with all this hopi- changi- stuff The One is peddling-- forced labor, censorship, spin, and pure mean-spirited rudness:
Atlas readers rock! I am blown away by the overwhelming response to this post (and this one) to get involved to take back our country from the Soros, socialists, and the self proclaimed messiah - oy. More than one email brought a tear to my eye but I wanted to share this one with you.
If this best represents who we are, what we want and where we are going, there is no way we can lose. Greatness is in the house. I am proud to count you as my friends. Prouder still to stand with you and fight this great fight.
I want to lead a county.
I was born in Cuba, and know the language of Communism, Obama speaks it well. My grandfather's family had to flee Lebanon because of the Muslims to Cuba. We fled Cuba because of Castro.
This is the best country in the whole wide world. I was a child when I left Cuba with the clothe on my back, we left my parent's sister and I, left behind everything.
America is Worth fighting for and Freedom is worth defending. I do not want my children to grow up in oppression, nor do I wish exile upon them.
Please allow me to help, again, Id like to lead a county.
My name is Ingrid and Im in Miami, in Miami Dade County
May the Light always shine upon America,
Ingrid
UPDATE: In case there was any doubt as to what the victorious zombies have in mind. Check out this comment (left in the comment section) . Can you say rude awakening?
You people are pathetic!
Your racist fear mongering will not go unchallenged! Soon we will shut down your hate spewing web sites. We will confiscate your firearms. In prison, you will get an education on the error of your ways. We will take your children and raise them as our own and instill in them the values of social justice. We will have a new American Republic of justice and order for all!
You time is almost up! Prepare for the dung heap of history!
It sounds insane (which it is) but I believe the writer is quite serious.

Quite a post there.
I was one of those who predicted before the primaries that Obama would be the next President. All the "Hillary can't lose--she will cheat and win" Freepers were badly fooled.
I guess I am going to be in the minority on FR again--because I think we conservatives are going to get through this stronger than ever.
Obama has that "Jimmy Carter" feel to him--the self-destruction wing to the Democratic Party. Foreign Policy is a mystery to him--and his "pragmatic" advisors will argue among themselves and be little help in a crisis. Adversaries will sense weakness and overplay their hands. Even cautious China will be tempted to poke the pompous fool in the eye. (Think about the Oriental view of black people--and what that could mean for US-China relations.)
You see he now becomes the symbol of the Party just as FDR was the symbol before him. They rise or fall with him.
As the least qualified President in our nation's history the chances of a successful Obama administration (measured by our national security and the state of the economy) imho are well under 10%.
Joe Biden's comments about foreign policy crises were dead on point. Obama will be tested. He will panic and overreact. His peacenik supporters will abandon him as they did LBJ during Vietnam--and he will break down in shock just like LBJ did when his media supporters started stabbing him in the back. (sidenote--if you get a chance to visit the LBJ library in Austin look at the replica of the Oval Office--it had three television sets, one for each network. I would expect Obama to have a bank of TV sets in his Oval Office--and when they start calling him out as an "empty suit" twenty-four seven he will wish he had stayed in the Senate as a backbencher 'present' voter.")
As for the economy--well, my tagline says it all.

Belated updates follow:
Besides being American, I'm a conservative whose first political campaign was for Barry Goldwater.
Lower taxes.
Fewer regulations.
More freedom.
More responsibility for having that freedom.
Strong military.
Free speech.
Right to keep and bear arms. And the rest of the Bill of Rights, too. Yeah, I'm a Southerner. Don't call me a "Yank." Them's fightin' words down here.
Keep the people free and the country sovereign, and we can get in a pile and argue about abortion, dope, etc., later...
Stay out of my face.
...and always remember to KISS...
( keep it simple, stupid. )
Minor addendum?
1)- The threat to the entire West posed by militant Islam
2)- The threat to our society & sovereignty by uncontrolled illegal immigration
3)- The near-ungovernability of the nation, due to left-wing extremism, and the 90-95% leftward biases of both the news & entertainment industry- AKA, Media Hive.
4)- The rot of popular culture- coarse, crude, and utterly pointless and superficial...
================================================
The Memory Hole ( data scrubbing ) commences:
I've just found out that the Obama people have changed part of their new website.
They have deleted the word "required" in the volunteerism section. I have no doubt the original was the true intent.
It appears that the Obama people do a fair amount of internet "scrubbing" I think the term is.
JOHN TIERNEY:
If, as some social scientists have been telling us, 88 percent of whites have an implicit bias against blacks and in favor of whites, and if, according to exit polls, whites made up 74 percent of the voters on Tuesday, why is Barack Obama going to be the next president?
Im afraid I cant make that math work out, so Ive got another question: Was this election a landslide defeat for the researchers labeling most Americans as unconscious racists?
Yes, but that won't go away so long as there's a political market for it. Besides, there are still some people screaming the N-word -- they're just not in Mississippi . . .
MORE CHARGES OF FRAUD in the Minnesota recount. "The election seems to be in the process of being stolen, and the media are either bemused or, as in this incredibly stupid AP story by Brian Bakst, preparing the battlefield for the theft. "

The swooning frenzy over the choice of Barack Obama as President of the United States must be one of the most absurd waves of self-deception and swirling fantasy ever to sweep through an advanced civilisation. At least Mandela-worship its nearest equivalent is focused on a man who actually did something.
Early in his campaign, Barack Obama pledged to end missile defense. He made a video stating the goal quite clearly.
Perhaps the wishful thinkers who have been telling us that Obama would govern as a centrist might want to provide an interpretation of the latest weasel words of the preznit-elect, from the Beeb,
Did Obama's media approval rating take a dive from 100% to 99.9% ?

The people have spoken and have no clue as to what they have really said. They swallowed promises of jelly beans and ice cream by a vendor who has never produced anything but a shiny brightly colored facade from which he is selling empty air. Actually it took Middle Eastern money, Marxist subversives, corrupt Chicago Political Machine, Chicago mobsters, and a lot of hard, devious work on the behalf of Obama Husain Obama to convince dont confuse me with the facts masses to pull the lever for a man who has no accomplishments in his wake except for self promotion...

Senator Barack Obama's presidential campaign slogan, "the audacity of hope," should have instead been "the audacity of deceit." After months of telling the American people that he supports the Second Amendment, and only hours after being declared the president-elect, the Obama transition team website announced an agenda taken straight from the anti-gun lobby--four initiatives designed to ban guns and drive law-abiding firearm manufacturers and dealers out of business:
"Making the expired federal assault weapons ban permanent."
So he's not going to take away our Second Amendment Rights? Maybe he won't, but he didn't say anything about his Civilian National Security Force now did he?
