Several posters have mentioned this over the past week, but I want to bring it up again. Governor Sarah Palin is under attack from both the right (faux right) and the left, blaming her for McCain's loss.

We all know the truth- few of us could ever have supported McCain without her.

Freepers, it is time to counter the attacks and encourage Governor Palin. Let's overwhelm her with thank-you cards, letters, flowers, etc.

Thanks for the listing! My husband and I both talked about sending personal letters to each of the Palin children and this inspires me to do it sooner rather than later! In fact we’re leaving for the Caribbean on Sunday and I’m going to send Piper a postcard from there!

I submit that the public persecution of Sarah will continue in an effort to marginalize and demoralize her and demonstrate to any Conservatives considering opposing the Progressive Kleptocracy, that ‘this too will happen to you... and your family.’ Remember Joe! Remember, George Walker. He’ll return quietly to his farm in January a tired and broken Man... Cincinnatus whipped and beaten for his trouble.

I agree we can’t let it happen to Sarah. But, it will happen and indeed it is happening. Its a fabulous effort here to lend her any support that we can. I thank you for the contact information. She’ll be getting a genuine “Thank You” from the Atos family. But, ultimately she will be the one who must persevere through this ordeal. If she comes back to the fight, she’ll be stronger for it... a genuine leader of unquestionable caliber. And if she does not, she still deserves our gratitude and praise for lending a brief halo of virtue and promise to an otherwise dismal campaign effort.

Remember the presidency is a man’s club...no women allowed. A woman named Wallace, I’ve read, is spreading untruths about Sarah and Carl Cameron is carrying her water and spreading these lies via FOX on national tv.

I feel the same way about leaving the GOP. I wrote everyone I could think of at the RNC, etc. letting them know that I'm leaving the Grand Old Party to register Independent after seeing how they're throwing Sarah under the bus since the election. She was the only one in the McCain Campaign willing to fight and at least try to win, so it's absurd to blame her for their loss.
