The McCain Campaign’s Classless Cowards (already attempting to blame Sarah for their loss!!!)
MichelleMalkin.com ^ | 11/05/08 | Michelle Malkin

The anonymous trashing of Sarah Palin by blabbermouth McCain aides who are leaking to Fox News is disgusting. Absolutely disgusting.

Allah’s got the vid clip of a report citing unnamed McCain staffers accusing Palin of lacking, in Carl Cameron’s words, “knowledgeability.”

At least all the Hollywood and Manhattan Palin-haters were willing to sign their names and put their faces on their attacks.

Let’s assume the rumor-mongers are telling the truth for a moment. Who does it damn more: Sarah Palin or McCain and his vetters who green-lighted her for the vice presidential nomination? Don’t need an Ivy League degree to figure that one out.

Sarah Palin worked her heart out. She energized tens of thousands to come out who would have otherwise stayed home. She touched countless families. I didn’t agree with everything she said on the campaign trail. But two fundamental conservative stands she took mattered greatly to me: She vigorously defended the Second Amendment and the sanctity of life more eloquently in practice than any of the educated conservative aristocracy.

And she did it all with a tirelessness and infectious optimism that defied the shameless, bottomless attempts by elites in both parties to bring her and her family down.

Shame on the smearers who don’t have the balls to show their faces.

Thank you, Sarah Palin. Thank you for stepping up the plate and serving your country.

***

More: Ace of Spades is %^&* spitting mad:

Here’s a story these staffers tell: Sent to collect Palin from a hotel, she greeted them, straight from the shower (running late, I guess ) dressed (scandal!) only in a bathrobe (presumably a very thick hotel bathrobe).

These staffers called that “uncommon” — Cameron delighted in the word to give it the sound of “whorish, unprofessional.”

Heh, assholes? She had to open the door and had just gotten out of the shower. Did you want her to use her magical powers of telekinesis to open the door for you?

So is RedState, which announces an accountability project.

This is all grist for the hate-filled netroots to chew over for the next day or two and bring up whenever Sarah’s name comes up somewhere. This is despicable.

Exactly right. McCain’s staffers have always been nasty. From the tobacco fight onward, nasty, vicious, and rude.

Lack of knowledge regarding world geo-political situation makes it difficult for public to accept a candidate.

Remind me again: who won the presidential election, just yesterday...? ;)

Now that’s what I would support. Try to get her enrolled at George Mason University and get a degree in economics from their fine, fine program.

Romney already restarted his PAC so we know he is running. He will not be getting my vote.

Nor mine, should it turn out that either he OR any member of his staff is in any way responsible for these cowardly and despicable "whisper campaign" attacks on Sarah Palin.

It was the late-added presence of SARAH which energized an otherwise moribund and apathetic conservative voting base.

It was SARAH who drew record-shattering crowds, everywhere she went on behalf of a sour and ungrateful McCain campaign.

Friendly little word of warning to any/all RINOs out there reading this, and thinking about standing in the way between this woman and the conservative base that adores her, anytime during the next four years:

You're expendable to us. SHE isn't.

Do you really think there is any chance that Sarah Palin is not aware that Africa is a continent?

Yes. I find it believable that her intelligence could be focused in other areas and that she could be somewhat vague about the geography of Africa.

My experience is that women in general are not overly fond of maps.

I suppose that anyone who has momentarily paid attention when twirling around a globe should know that Africa is a continent. But a surprising number of people are not even that observant or in any event have been able to avoid thinking about it for years. It's definitely not hard to find people who don't know that South Africa is a country.

Maybe we will all find that these Palin stories are just unfounded rumors derived from some sort of political backstabbing scheme. But what has Palin said in public that would give one confidence that they are not true?

How much knowledge of world affairs did Reagan and Clinton have? Oh by the way, who won the election yesterday? Please stop this ridiculous assertion that she’s just a bimbo. You do not need a degree from some Ivy league school to become president, maybe to be invited to a Gala in the upper east side, but not to run the country. Please stop this notion that she’s a dummy, as you’re starting to sound like a Northeastern liberal elitist.

Thanks, but I already knew that. He didn’t get a college degree, perhaps that would have been a more accurate statement.

Blah blah blah she’s a dummy. STFU all you Romneybots, I’m honestly getting sick and tired of you people. If you want to break away from the GOP and form your own elitist party, go for it, but don’t keep insulting those of us who didn’t go to Harvard.
Thank God Barack Obama doesn’t think we have 57 states, Joe Biden actually remembers who the president was during the depression and lastly Joe Biden knows how many letters are in the word J-O-B-S

My experience is that women in general are not overly fond of maps.

Saying that a 44 year old college graduate (much less the governor of a state) doesn't know Africa is a continent because "women in general are not overly fond of maps" is like saying that it's likely a woman doesn't know one uses a bat while playing basebeall, because women aren't as fond of sports as men.

But what has Palin said in public that would give one confidence that they are not true?

Oh my. You've lost your bloody mind. Is it stress from last night's loss?

Hey, she hasn't said anything in public that confirms she knows a bicycle has two wheels. Maybe we can get that rumor started.

Same - I voted for Palin yesterday as did God knows how many others. If not for Sarah, Obama would have won in a landslide. I can not begin to remember all the people I met who were wild about Sarah - and not really too excited about Mccain.
