The McCain Campaign’s Classless Cowards (already attempting to blame Sarah for their loss!!!)
MichelleMalkin.com ^ | 11/05/08 | Michelle Malkin

The anonymous trashing of Sarah Palin by blabbermouth McCain aides who are leaking to Fox News is disgusting. Absolutely disgusting.

Allah’s got the vid clip of a report citing unnamed McCain staffers accusing Palin of lacking, in Carl Cameron’s words, “knowledgeability.”

At least all the Hollywood and Manhattan Palin-haters were willing to sign their names and put their faces on their attacks.

Let’s assume the rumor-mongers are telling the truth for a moment. Who does it damn more: Sarah Palin or McCain and his vetters who green-lighted her for the vice presidential nomination? Don’t need an Ivy League degree to figure that one out.

Sarah Palin worked her heart out. She energized tens of thousands to come out who would have otherwise stayed home. She touched countless families. I didn’t agree with everything she said on the campaign trail. But two fundamental conservative stands she took mattered greatly to me: She vigorously defended the Second Amendment and the sanctity of life more eloquently in practice than any of the educated conservative aristocracy.

And she did it all with a tirelessness and infectious optimism that defied the shameless, bottomless attempts by elites in both parties to bring her and her family down.

Shame on the smearers who don’t have the balls to show their faces.

Thank you, Sarah Palin. Thank you for stepping up the plate and serving your country.

***

More: Ace of Spades is %^&* spitting mad:

Here’s a story these staffers tell: Sent to collect Palin from a hotel, she greeted them, straight from the shower (running late, I guess ) dressed (scandal!) only in a bathrobe (presumably a very thick hotel bathrobe).

These staffers called that “uncommon” — Cameron delighted in the word to give it the sound of “whorish, unprofessional.”

Heh, assholes? She had to open the door and had just gotten out of the shower. Did you want her to use her magical powers of telekinesis to open the door for you?

So is RedState, which announces an accountability project.

EVERYBODY KEEPS saying ... 4 years from now! It's not 4 years ... she needs to start running right after the 2010 congressional elections. Just the same way the Democrats did ... to humiliate Bush they started the earliest presidential campaign in the history of American presidential politics.

And like Ronald Reagan did, she ought to resign as Governor a year from now and start getting ready to run but in the meantime she goes to all the congressional districts and help get republican candidates elected like Ronald Reagan did and we'll see how popular she will be. She will get a lot of republicans elected. We'll probably be in the majority of the House again if she would do this.

We should also already start getting websites and groups started in our states to get Sarah elected in 2012 ...

I would have been frustrated, too. They kept her bottled up, they put her in interviews with people they knew would try to make her look bad and she WANTED to win, I imagine she was frustrated as all get out when McCain is telling her don’t talk about Ayers, don’t talk about Wright, don’t let Hank Williams sing about terrorists in his McCain/Palin Tradition song, she must have wanted to scream...

I guess that 0bama won the election because of Biden.

That seems to be the logic being used in this instance.

The McCain team should have been released soon after he receive the nomination. It's that simple, they were the ones who cost us the election.

You two need to get a grip with you sly insinuations she’s a cute but kind of a dim woman. It reeks of sexism to me.

She has a degree in journalism, and that’s fine. She doesn’t need to have a masters from some “prestigious” university to be capable of leading this country. If you think so, you should research your history on the Presidency.

These men didn’t graduate from college...not even a degree in journalism:

George Washington
Andrew Jackson
Martin Van Buren
Zachary Taylor
Millard Fillmore
Abraham Lincoln
Andrew Johnson
Grover Cleveland
Harry S Truman

Sarah’s sharp, down to earth, and get’s it.
She was plucked from nowhere land, was thrown to the wolves, and was brilliant on the campaign trail and at the convention. I also think she shined during the VP debate.

After four more years as the Governor of Alaska, she’ll be even better. imo

He has never been as responsive to us as Kyl, though he has been less so since he was re-elected.

All of those men were in the 18th and 19th Centuries, save President Truman. Things move at a faster pace, nowadays. And I DEEPLY RESENT your implication that my post was in ANY WAY sexist! Check on my posting history back to the day she was nominated if you want a clearer picture of my opinion of Governor Sarah Palin!!

Agreed, and Todd runs his own commercial fishing business, so she understands the small business person from REAL LIFE experience, not from some business degree.
Something snots do not get, and never will. They brag about their masters or PHD while real people run rings around them in the real world of business.

I suspect some is coming from Nicole Wallace — who worked for CBS and gave a long Palin interview to Wonkette right before Wonkette wrote her nasty blurb about Trigg Palin.

Anyone incapable of instantly recognizing the woman's native astuteness, within an initial ten or fifteen seconds of simply listening to her, isn't sharp enough a blade to take seriously to begin with. ;)

McCain's advisors ran a pathetic campaign, and are trying to shift the blame onto Palin. It is like Obama and Barney Frank saying it is all Bush's fault for the Economic Crisis.

Exactly. And that is why I don’t understand people like Bill Gates; he is taking a political stand that will disable young people from ever getting a chance to do what he did as a young man.

Bill Gates never went to college but became a success. Oddly enough, he never seems to hire anyone like himself.

and in story after story she was kind and thoughtful, even from stopping at a country market to buy apple cider and coming out with cups that she handed out to the state troopers and then poured cider for all of them before pouring some for family and herself and then walked over to people who stopped to gawk and shook hands and spoke to everyone. Every story had her reaching in her pocket and paying for everything she bought, from ice cream to coffee and more... the PUMA were all shocked about that, time and again they would comment that Hillary never paid for anything. When the clothing thing started some designer was shocked she paid for anything, said this designer had donated all Hillary’s suits and they were valued at $6350 each.

Lack of knowledge regarding world geo-political situation makes it difficult for public to accept a candidate.
Unfortunately it is not only conservatives who elect a president, but rather a hodgepodge of voters of every stripe.

Governor PALIN has pretty much all the attributes except exposure to world affairs.

John McCain and his ilk are absolutely what is wrong with the GOP. The only reason I voted for him, instead of writing in (fill in the blank) is because of his pick of Sarah Palin and my fear of Obama.

What I don't see from the great round white head is him stepping up to the plate to defend her from these vicious attacks.

Texas, where I live, was never up for grabs and I am really sorry now that I didn't stick my original decision to quit voting "against" and either play golf or write in Fred Thompson or even Chuck Baldwin (Constitution Party). I have not been a Republican since 1998 when I started voting as a non-political party aligned conservative citizen.

This isn't the way to get me or the countless numbers like me who have totally lost faith in both political parties back into "the fold".

This really pizzez me off.
