Yes its a vanity!!!
Who would like to see some Republicans come out and say I'm pissed off we lost? I'm mad as hell, and would like to break something. I'm already mad and seeing Republican after republican come out and talk about the "historic" context of this election, ticks me off even more!! Hell I expected McCain to give a gracious concession speech; but I almost expected him to say "why yes I actually voted for Obama myself". I wish any republican would show some freaking passion, show that you actually give a damn you lost
Perfect, just perfect.
"lowest turnout since 1980??? 55 million voted for mccain 1992 39 million voted republican ??"While I appreciate your point, apathetic voters don't tell the whole story, in my opinion. And this figure tells the whole story.
Another problem is that DC politicians have been ignoring the Constitution that they swear to defend. This practice has been going on since FDR established his constitutionally unauthorized New Deal federal spending programs in the 1930s.
And what's worse is that the people are so detached from the intentions of the Founders as reflected by the Constitution that they are impotent to stop their federal "leaders" from perverting the Constitution, particularly the following statues concerning the requirement for enumerated federal government powers.
Article I, Section 8, Clause 18: To make all Laws which shall be necessary and proper for carrying into Execution the foregoing Powers, and all other Powers vested by this Constitution (emphasis added) in the Government of the United States, or in any Department or Officer thereof.10th Amendment: The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people.
I cleaned and field-stripped my AK47 last night. I’m ready to roll baby...
“I’d like to think we’re bigger people than the angry and bitter left.”
Anger is a great motivator.
I’m mad as hell!
“no more RINOs for president”
Nor congress nor at any level.
while a agree with everything you said, a 16 MILLION voter difference is exactly the problem...I will say it again, the libtard votes in every election, regardless of who is running...we have entire blocks of voters who would sit home if they do not get everything they want handed to them on a silver platter (evangelicals for example)...so we continue to lose elections, mathematically. Now, as for the drift of the party from right to center to left of center, again, if the voters do not go to the polls and vote in the primary’s for the conservative, well, ya won’t get very many conservatives on the national ticket if you don’t vote in the primary’s...the turnouts in the primary’s are dismal at best...if you want to see change, if you want a conservate slate, with real conservatives on the ballot, then come home early from your damn vacations, and get to the polls...if we nominate conservatives, the party will have no choice but to change....(rant off) and none of this is directed at you personally, and I apologize in advance if it is taken that way...whew
I’m more disapointed than pissed. But I look forward to seeing the idiot Obama voters I know spit up blood when they start complaining about taxes, the price of gas, water, electrical service, food, inflation, etc.
Well.......I have been expressing my disgust about this loss since shortly after the 2004 election. It's not possible to get any madder as this loss was completely expected.
I was quoting the remarks of one of my “friends” about McCain.
I was trying to wise her up about Obambi with no success.
I was astounded by what she said. I couldn’t believe it.
She said she didn’t care about Ayers, Rezko, Wright, etc.
I was dumbfounded.
The election was not about any kind of facts at all.
amen
The problem therein is that if you show me a sore loser, I will likewise show you a loser. A loser is a loser whether he deals with it maturely or not.
I think of it as “teaching a lesson”......not being a jerk. It certainly does make a point and the point is I will not “give” anyone anything extra anymore. They can work two jobs like I do or get in line for Obama’s welfare check.......I really don’t give a _hit. I will redistribute my wealth to myself.
I seriously don’t think they (lefties) are all that worried about our protests. After all...all we have is Fox News and the internet. They have they entire mainstream media at their disposal. Right now, they’re having too much fun gloating and threatening and lording it over on us (in other words, acting like typical juvenile leftist liberals).
Let’s not become over-confident at this stage. Let’s just reserve judgement for if/when Obama pulls something that we all need to protest about. And then...let’s let em have it!
btt
I understood that. I was asking for a 'replay', because I didn't think ANYONE could say anything that outrageously stupid.
I’m going to be upfront and say I am a Democrat. Now before you pass by thinking this is a flame or Obama booster, I will say I am a Reagan Democrat who proudly voted for John McCain and Sarah Palin yesterday. I want you to know that you are NOT the only ones pissed off right now. There are many of us Democrats who while not liking Bush because he went spend crazy. Did not allow our dislike of one man to color our judgment of a truly fine man and woman who had the election stolen from them by far left nutjobs yesterday. I consider myself to be a moderate, with conservative values but with a liberal mindset. I really don’t care what who does with who in their bedroom but I do oppose mandated gay marriage. I believe it should be up to the church if they want to allow it or not, if they don’t want a church wedding, then they can damn well call it a civil union. I actually wanted Hillary for President. I realize many of you do not care for her at all, but I do hope we can agree, that we all could have lived with her. She would have been a moderate, not a far left nutjob as we are facing now. I also had no problem at all in supporting John McCain. They have and I believe will continue to work together for the American people. This is something I can say about Clinton and McCain, that I can NOT say about the Obamessiah!
I can understand to a point your anger and frustration right now. If the masses had bothered to spend 10 minutes reading old Chicago newspapers from his time in the Illinois State Senate, they would have known the truth about his involvement with Rezko. His lack of a resume having his name added to dozens of bills in his last year before running for the US senate just to make him look good. All these things are readily available if anyone bothers to look for themselves. That is why I am here. I may disagree with you on many issues, but voting in IGNORANCE is a loser for ALL Americans. None of us wants to see corrupt or inept people elected to office. We all want good leaders who will stand up for what they believe in even if it means getting kicked in the head now and then. I could easily live with a moderate Republican who followed the Republican core values, just as I think most of you could with a moderate Democrat. So how about those of us who realize ignorance is the bane of all Americans resolve our own groups right now to voter education! Let the people know how to find out the truth themselves. Urge participation in open debates on the issues. And we all give a collective “SCREW YOU” to the media who have been only to happy to cover up for Obama!
In closing and with all respect. Those of you wanting to take revenge on the waitresses for supporting Obama. Please remember, Republican turn out was low, there were millions of McCain democrats who gave him a part of that 55 million votes. Though I would supposedly benefit from Obama’s programs, I like many of my fellow PUMA put country first, before party, and before any hand outs!
Thank you and welcome to FR, POdVet. Thank you for supporting McCain/Palin and your country. If you are slammed, please do not take offense. Many here are in disarray wanting to place blame and spinning around in circles doing so.
Many think social conservatism is the way to go; although I do not believe it is. I believe FISCAL conservatism will always win. It’s when you start expanding government and forcing beliefs upon others that we lose voters. Reagan was a fiscal conservative.
To successfully combat Obama and communism, we are going to have to band together to fight. We are going to have to pick out fights well to succeed. The small stuff has got to go by the wayside.
I hope you don’t leave us. Please remember that this forum is unique in that membership runs the full strata of Republicans, some more vocal than others.
Again, thank you for helping support Senator McCain.
