What I hope happens is that most of what Obama has proposed happens swiftly. Let the pain come quickly. I fear that if it’s a trickle here and a trickle there that people will only adjust and accommodate the negative changes and learn to be passive about them as they always are.
If people witness a drastic rather than gradual change in their way of life, it might sink in what we have done.

This race was moving along squarely for McCain until the financial crisis. A crisis brought about by Fannie and Freddie and their greedy brethren.
And the Obamatron feasted on that every which way.
The irony is too ugly to contemplate now. They will all skate.
It’s right out of the communist playbook. Destroy the institutions of capitalism and then feast on its carcass.
So he wants to use taxation to nationalize and destroy industries. Fine.
Maybe the American people will wake up.
