How much has really changed in 4 years? One or two states? Still big regions of the country conservative/center. McCain is outperforming pre-election polling. We barely won the last 8 years so all it took was Bush bungling Iraq, Katrina and now the economy conveniently tanking one month prior to election. Still not a landslide and plenty of people ready to wake up and throw the Dems out in a couple years once they fly left as they no doubt will.

This was a temper tantrum directed at Bush and by proxy McCain. People having tantrums and flinging poo don't think about Obama's history, Dems lousy record in Congress, socialism, etc.

This is not the end of the republic. We have had bad presidents before. I do not think the senate will have 60 dems. The country is experimenting with obama,,they will rue the day and toss him out after one term if he tries to do what he says.

If this holds up (and I still think it is early-8:38 Central) I agree. I always worried that we'd need a few more points to overcome the fraud. With the fraudsters in charge, our elections will be like Venezuela's. I think I will be through with politics if this happens. My vote will officially be worthless.
