The only consolation in all of this is that the coming economic wipeout will be their baby screaming at 3 in the morning for the next four years.

My contingency plan for Obama winning is to go on economic strike. There are some things I won't skimp on, but my family has the ability to withold thousands of dollars annually from the economy with little appreciable difference in out standard of living. We'll make any tax increases a net-negative to our local community and businesses.

And to other places as well. We spend several hundred dollars a year on a couple/few trips to Hershey PA. Those stop effective immediately, as does any purchase of Hershey products.

It’s tough right now for many of us. McCain wasn’t my first choice, but he’s miles ahead of the Socialist, and, w Palin I, like many others was truly excited. Even though it’s not looking great for us right now, I still want to wait to see what happens when more votes come in all the states. If we get stuck w the big Zero then I have to put my trust in the one above that He will help us get through the next four years of 0, Stretch Pelosi, and Dingy Reid - -He hasn’t failed us before.

If worse comes to worse, we will need to work hard for 2010.

I will always believe the timing of the financial meltdown was contrived to take mcCain out of the lead.
