I had a call a minute ago and I answered the phone ‘IMPEACH OBAMA HEADQUARTERS’. The person who called me offered a 30 million dollar donation. To bad I know this person and I know the check will bounce!
We always get together in the hotel bar on Saturday night... the last night of CPAC. The past three or so years we only found a handful of FReepers though. Still, it's always a good time.
I have to admit I've LOVED every CPAC banquet I've ever been to. They always have a star-studded group of speakers... some of the most inspiring speeches I've ever heard in my life have been at those banquets. IMO, they are well worth the money. Problem is, this year, "the money" is a LOT more than it used to be... :-(
What a depressing night, huh? Obama only needs a few more states... I really thought McPalin had a chance in PA and/or OH. I'm really finding it difficult to imagine life under the arrogant reign of Obama-Pelosi-Reid. Ugh...

My fervent hope is that Obama raises taxes and jobs go in the toilet for 2 years. Then we can get congress back and stop this bastard in his tracks. Otherwise, he’ll do an incremental drip-drip-drip/slowing heating the frog pot such that the idiots who just screwed themselves and the rest of us don’t realize the disaster they’ve wrought and it drags on for eaight years, never to be reversed.
I was just thinking the same thing. Nothing and no one liberal will get a cent from me. And that's just for starters. For eight years Republicans have brought butter knives to the Democrats' gunfights. "Republicans don't do that" is all we hear. We're not "dirty" like the Dems.
Meanwhile the Democrats steal votes, lie, cheat, and bully. And look what it got them. I think we should go Chicago on their a**es.

You know, my Dad taught me two very valuable lessons that have stayed with me my entire life:
1. Be careful what you wish for because you just might get it and,

I think you are right. People thought they were going to get handouts and they might just find that there is nothing free when they get those handouts.
The Palin-McCain ticket did surprisingly well here in this Central MO County, just as well as GWB in 2004 in our precinct, but I suspect a lot of that had to do with the enthusiastic reception that Palin received this weekend here in this area.
When. oh, when can we rid our party leadership of leftist, (compassionate) amnesty RINOs and actually begin again to win as Reagan showed how it could be done.
Ohio was fraud central. Not surprised.
However, I will say that this was most likely a legitimate win by Obama.
And lets not act as if the world has come to an end.
The worst he can do in four years is replaces some lefty Supreme Court judges with other lefties.
I will go to work tomorrow, and come home. Plan some things I have with my family...etc.
We can make it through...we survived a bloody civil war in this country, race riots, etc.
Let’s just hope Obama is more concerned with his own legacy over his radical beliefs.
If he governs too far to the left, we will have our day two years later in both houses, like with Clinton. Maybe he knows how to preserve his job....stay in the middle. We’ll see.
