I expected Obama to get a bump from his infomercial. But now McCain has to keep hitting him hard on his socialistic policies. The polls will fall back toward McCain in no time.

Polling has changed the past 4 years. New technology (cell, blackberries, no land lines) also callers not willing to answer phone or share voting preferences.

I will say this, someone/somebody is going to look really smart or really dumb.

Ignore the media...

I’ll just be glad when this is over. Shame on me for paying so much damn attention to these polls.

I guess that’s why Obama is in Iowa today.

And Palin is there on Monday.

I just posted this from a Blog that is working hard to make sense out of all the pollsters nonsense.:

The Nightly Bi-Poller Report For 10_30_08 ( keeping track of the pollsters methodology)

Looks like Gallup is finding that voters this election will again be 50-50 Dem-Repub rather than their “huge voter boost for The One” crap they’ve been peddling. The only way to make this tacit admission is to suddenly “close” the difference between “traditional” and “expanded.” Next day or two, polls suddenly show election within MOE. McCain wins, well, “we saw this coming and reflected it in our polls.” Pollsters are even lower than trial lawyers, just not as well paid.

Does anyone have internals by party ID? I could not find them. They have to be heavily weighted to D’s.

My conclusion is that the pollsters really don’t know how far off they are, so they’re not changing their sampling to get it closer to the real result.

Election night is either gong to be misery for me or the most fun I’ve had in years, watchig the scumbag medai and polling orgs go down in flames.

I don’t think all the polls can be wrong. I also don’t think it’s bad to see negative polls for McCain. What it makes me do is feel motivated. It makes me send a few more emails. Make a few more calls. It means I won’t just assume because my state “always goes republican” it’s safe to stay home Tuesday. You guys are spinning this all wrong. People who feel completely safe don’t vote. Let THEM feel so safe. Who wants to go stand in line in Philly for 12 hours to vote, if it’s in the bag after all. Stay home democrats, it’s okay, O is going to win.

Not going to happen. Ignore this crap and get out and vote. Barry is having to retrace his traitorous footsteps.

Pay NO attention to MSM polls.

This race is a pure toss-up or if any likely a small lead for Obama -

Regarding polling (we all know what the MSM does...uses polls to push poll voters and to discourage Republicans)....That said it looks like we are starting to relive 06....where everyone kept saying ignore the polls (special sauce, etc, etc)....and that is not how it turned out.

Reality is not all the polls can be wrong....Which means this is a close race with Obama likely having a slight lead. We either find ways to convince more people over the next 4 days or we lose. Make sure you bring everyone you can to the voting booths, make sure you talk with family and friends about the seriousness of this election.....

Did any of you really think they were going to let us go into the weekend with good poll numbers?

Just vote and get people to the polls. Talk to people. Show them the videos of the weather underground, etc.

“also callers not willing to answer phone”

Very true, I check caller ID, if it an 800 number forget it. If it shows the caller is “unknown” I have the two second rule. If they aren't speaking after two seconds I know it's a boiler room that has delay until it switches over to someone ready to put the hard sell on me. Most probably they are Repubs looking for money, but believe me they have more of my money this election than any other. I just choose to pick whom gets my money without the hard sell.

Its easy...Gallup predicted a couple days before Barry`s Infomercial, that he might get a bounce from it. Gallup telegraphed at that time that they where going to give him a bounce from it, come hell or high water.

I predicted this a couple days ago in another thread.

George Gallup, a great Christian conservative in his own right, has nothing whatsoever to do with Gallup anymore. They are all manipulating the polls to influence people...CASE FREAKIN CLOSED. From Zogby to Ras to Gallup etc they are all in the tank for Obama to some degree.

Fox opinion Dynamics will come out with a new poll Monday morning if not sooner, saying that Obama is up anywhere from 7-10 points, mark my words.

Just remember they are all lying.

Has a Gallup poll ever been off this much in the final results? If not, it’s scary.

Has the MSM ever ben this blatantlyobviously in the tank for a Democratic Presidential nominee before?.....

Not scary,...just typical Saul Alinsky style misinformation and demoralization of the opposition!
