Great rally, great speech!
Ending music was a nice touch too “She’s not just a pretty face...”
To: Aria
It’s outrageous that the FEC isn’t investigating this. How can we let this happen?

Has an alternate feed been posted? The original link stopped streaming.

Thank you for the link. That was the high point of my day! My daughter, wife and I sat around the computer. My wife said it was like when families sat around the radio...........

It's so sad to see how badly she was handled by the McCain people. They didn't understand what an asset that had in her until it was so late in the game. Now it seems as if she's going rogue and breaking away from their stupid handling. I say, good for her. Everyone who has worked with her in the past and observed her career has said that she has excellent political instincts. She should be left to use them. I think her hammering back about her wardrobe is her way of wrestling the message back from the MSM and the campaign idiots who let this get out of control. She's probably angry that they did not answer all of the attacks right away as they broke. They should have answered the per diem attacks right away, and the book banning thing, etc. Instead they let it slide and eat up news coverage.

They all usually cut out by now. They don’t cover her shaking hands with the crowds.

“...while Sarah was speaking, FNC live cut to Rassmussen who said the race is over barring an external effect....”
Bull and baloney! There’s an energy out there... and it’s NOT for Barry and Biden. I sensed it in 2004... it was gone in 2006....but it is back, big time now! I don’t care WHAT the damn polls and pundits say.
Now, we just got to get OUT THERE and make it happen! And IGNORE the stinking polls. Those people WANT us to believe there’s no hope, that Barry is inevitable. Well, I DON’T believe it!

You are so right! I called my wife into the den to watch it on the computer with me. Sarah is such a wonderful speaker her words may be written down but they come from her heart. She is alive with the crowd and as mentioned above makes little verbal asides to herself while speaking, then follows up on them later in her speech! Obama can't match her ability.

Right on! Remember what they tried to do when they botched all the exit polls in 2004. They wanted us all to stay at home. It's as if they've figured out that it's better start the false poll data earlier in the game to suppress the turnout instead of just waiting until election day.
They could be in for a rude awakening on Nov. 4th. I won't give up. If we go down, I say better to go down swinging with Mac and the Barracuda than to sit home and whine.
To: GipperGal
If the networks arent showing her speeches, it is that much harder for the masses of people to hear her message.

I personally haven't discounted the Bradley Effect. The Obama partisans are so in your face about their support of the Messiah and are so cavalier about throwing around accusations of racism that people are embarrassed about saying that they're not voting for Obama. And it's been pointed out by Jim Geraghty over at NRO that the pollsters over represent Democrats to Republicans. There is some funny business going on with these polls.
To: GipperGal
I’ve posted several times that I believe that a form of the Bradley effect is in play, and it will be unprecedented in quantity. i think a lot of the “undecideds” in the polls may fall into that category.
But i’m still completely disgusted with the MSM for not showing more of her seeches, so that more people will be able to judge what they will be getting if they elect Sarah.

Good point about the undecideds. I think the reason why they keep harping on the Palin unqualified poll is because they’re trying to sway these voters.

The media fear Governor Palin.
The level and constancy of “journalistic” attack reflect that fear.
Unlike the shameful coverage, editorials etc., regarding President Bush, the coverage of Palin includes betrayals by Noonan and Parker, for markedly different reasons.
I never trusted Peggy. Too uppity, urbane, and self-absorbed.
I thought Kathleen Parker was a rising columnist with appeal to conservative and moderate voters. She could write well.
IOW, Peggy’s defection is not surprising and I’m not interested in the “why.”
But, Parker’s poison pen is abrupt. It looks to me like rank jealousy. I can understand why she is jealous, even envious, of John McCain’s running mate.

Yesterday in Fort Wayne, she pointed out two in the crowd and thanked them for letting her say their names. She then said they should not be surprised to find the media in their driveway tomorrow investigating them. Cracked up the crowd.
