Let me peek from beneath my tinfoil hat long enough to say

-I believe the markets are being manipulated by LOTS of wealthy people and leaders of countries who want to see BHO in power

-It will plummet and will stay down all next week to make folks VERY ANGRY so that they will VOTE FOR CHANGE without knowing or caring to know that CHANGE will be BAD!

I believe your assessment is spot on.

There IS a silver lining in this...

I believe the only thing that has kept our guys (conservatives) from actively retaking this country from the marxists that infest it, was their comfortable life.

Well... reasons for not “rocking the boat” are continuing to disappear. The safety and comfort of servitude is starting to fade as people see bleak futures and watch their retirements blow away in this socialist created financial hurricane.

The chains are breaking and the weights are lifting, we are losing our reasons for inaction. This is a good thing. Even if we lose everything we had but in returned gained the fortitude to rid our nation of the marxist infestation, I would call it a good trade. I would think it worth the price!

The stock market is exceedingly unhappy over the nightmare of an Obama presidency.

HOWEVER, a come-from-behind McCain/Palin victory would produce a 3000 point Dow gain in the week after an electoral success (NOT NECESSARILY the week after Election Day, given the democrats massive voter fraud and history of gross litigation misconduct in 2000).

I am talking about all those people sitting there waiting until they think the bottom has finally been reached to jump in.

I doubt anyone will consider anything until after the election is over because they think there will be a swing down if the perception of some will be to sell if either one or the other wins.

Yes, it slips out a little on CNBC.

The conventential wisdom now is that Obama will extend any recession to at least 10 years. With a supermajority, the effect could be incredibilty destructive, i.e. FDR, & LBJ.

Say goodbye to the US edge forever, if he wins.

I really do not think this is a good time for this country to experiment with their “first black president in history.” Obama and his band of Chicago thugs are not experienced enough to handle this mess.

Your comments do not conform to the acceptable standards of Obamaspeak, and shows an insufficient level of fealty and worshipfullness for The One. Please report to the nearest re-education center asap.

Perhaps so. On the other hand, I think things go in cycles, and I’m expecting to see a reawakening in this nation. I don’t think the march toward destruction turns around often, but if it can happen, it will happen here.

You are exactly right — and it’s high time serious people knock off the nonsense and put this whole black thing into proper perspective. Blacks don’t mind (and are lauded by the mainstream media for) basing their entire voting decision on skin color. So, let’s take a serious look at what we are facing. If they can factor in race, so can we.

The fact is, you would be very hardpressed to find one country or city (or for that matter city block)where blacks have taken over and the entire place has not turned into a cesspool. I was raised in Baltimore City back when it really was “Charm City.” Then, the blacks took over, and now places that were once garden spots are unsafe for civilized habitation.

With that in mind, every single American has the right to ask: With all of the crises we now face, is this really the time to turn the country over to a black man who has written entire books castigating whites, has brutally denigrated his own white grandmother as a racist (for fearing for her own safety) on nationwide television, has openly defended the Jena 6 gang, and has worshiped at the feet of radical racists Franklin Marshall Davis and Jeremiah Wright?

We are talking about the entire future of our country here, and we have a right to ask the tough questions.

This is another one of those days where my wife and I are happy that we made the decision to pay off all of our credit card debt before dumping money into my 401(k) plan... ;-)

With fear of many companies being nationalized by an Obama administration I imagine some are simply pulling their money out now. Why invest when you’re likely to be punished for it? Why start a business that you can’t control? Why hire employees you can’t control, fire or discipline. If you want to see a mega-power and hope of the world disintigrate before your eyes, vote for Obama.

maybe their reasoning is it is hurting the incumbent party.

I heard it too and I didn’t take it that Rove believed that thinking was justified but just that it is a fact that the incumbent always get credit for a good economy and takes the blame for a bad one in many voter’s minds. He did not disagree or agree that that thinking was valid. He simply stated fact.

I sold off stock that I was going to sell off anyway since I didn’t like the performance before the crash and I sold just in time. Soon I will buy bargains.
