The presidential campaign of Sen. Barack Obama (D-Ill.) asked the Justice Department on Friday to allow an existing special prosecutor to probe the possible collaboration between the Bush administration and the presidential campaign of Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.) in generating what Obama aides charge are spurious allegations and investigations of voter fraud.

Isn't it funny how ACORN just released a similiar statement?

If only Osama Bin Laden would release a tape denouncing the voter fraud investigation, we'd have the trifecta.

So, looking into voter fraud is somehow voter fraud?

I see they are grasping at straws now.

Sorry, Barry-O, you’re already tarnished by ACORN.

Notice their standard Bush = McCain tactic. Is that ALL they have?? Wow, they’re really getting desparate on this one.

Sounds like the Obama-bots are soiling their drawers.

The louder they shriek and scream, the closer to the mark the arrow hit.

It’s amazing how closely the communications match when you buy $800K worth of votes.

Bloomberg now reporting this

Obama Lawyer Asks for Probe of Republican Voter-Fraud Claims

By Jeff Bliss

Oct. 17 (Bloomberg) -- Barack Obama's campaign attorney today asked Attorney General Michael Mukasey to add a probe into allegedly false Republican claims of voter fraud to the investigation into the firings of U.S. attorneys.

Republican voter-fraud accusations ``seek both to suppress the vote and to unduly influence investigations and prosecutions,'' wrote Robert Bauer, general counsel for the Democratic presidential nominee. He made the statement in a letter to Mukasey and special prosecutor Nora Dannehy, who is looking into the nine U.S. attorney firings in 2006.

Republican rival John McCain and his running mate, Sarah Palin, have tried to make voter fraud an issue in the election. Yesterday, media reports said the Federal Bureau of Investigation was looking into accusations of fraud involving the Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now, or ACORN.

Isn't it funny that ACORN made the SAME EXACT statement as well as denying any FBI probes into ACORN.

I think ACORN is using clintonspeak as they said there is no voter fraud just registration fraud!

There has been voter fraud technically-bogus votes have been cast in early voting.
