If, God forbid, that tragic day were to come, what would the Right be doing?
First and foremost, conservatives would be too busy working (somebody has to pay for the massive wealth transfer programs Obama wants to implement) to go out in the streets with giant puppet heads and “ObamaHitler” signs.
Nor would we be inclined to threaten riots, unlike some liberals who have essentially promised Rodney King verdict-style bedlam in the streets if Barack Obama loses. Also, conservatives love our country too much to make empty threats about moving to Canada, which is essentially just a less free, more liberal version of Massachusetts anyway.
However, you can expect people to get a little nuttier.

I remember a whole bunch of Libs saying if Bush won they’d leave the country...of course they’re still here. Point is, the left acts like a bunch of whiney brats. The right is usually more tactful with its denouncements of their opposition.
The left will take it as license to act even more fascistically towards anyone with an opposing viewpoint or an “unapproved” lifestyle (Christians).
Invest in precious metals, namely, lead and brass.
I’m only worried about what the moonbats will do after their Messiah loses. They’re emotionally unhinged already.
I will get rich because conservative titles absolutely soar under liberal administrations. Course, Obama will tax it away.
Learn from the illegal immigrants. Keep your citizenship, but participate only in the cash only economy - move “off the grid”

This guy obviously hasn’t been reading posts on various sites predicting a revolution (by conservatives) if Democrats take over everything.
It may be that the riots will be coming from the lefties, especially if their guy wins. They may celebrate throwing off their shackles and “stick it to The Man” with the sort of senseless violence we’ve seen before - looting neighborhood stores and such.
If McCain loses, we all had better be prepared to defend our fellow conservatives, because they will need it.
The model in most authoritarian or totalitarian states is to attack the opposition, and minimize them in the public arena.
I’ll take their emotional temper tantrum for losing over what they’d do in “revenge” with government power behind them.
My father, who hardly EVER comments on politics, commented on this very idea the other day. His response? “Well, it looks like assasinations will be waaaaaay up.”
Hopefully, the right will be doing what the left has been doing for the last 30 years.... re-educating the next generation. Hopefully, the right will be working towards how to REALLY save the country after the dems successfully push it over the edge of the cliff.
Regardless, if the left wins, the right needs to get the hell out of the way and start taking pictures.
If Obama wins, we will have no choice but to stage a massive tax revolt across the country. At the point he is sworn in, it will become treason to send a single dollar to what will be a Marxist government.
Our reaction, in contrast, will be to call our brokers to change our allocations.
If McCain loses, then as a Conservative from overseas I will blame you lot.
No excuse for McCain to lose: he may not exactly fit what everyone thinks would be a “perfect” GOP candidate, but he has a great story to tell (decorated War hero, cross-the-aisle appeal, experience) and a fantastic, bloody-brilliant running mate in Sarah Palin.
And he was fighting a muslim who hangs around with terrorists and with people who hate America, and he hasn’t done an honest day’s work in his entire life, and he cheats to steal votes, and his friends are all dodgy and probably criminals...
If McCain can’t win against all that, then it is YOUR FAULT AND NOBODY ELSE’S.
It will be a shameful day for Conservatives in America. It would be good and right and just for Conservatives from around the world to laugh at you.
And we will: we will laugh you to scorn and derision. So please don’t let that happen! That isn’t what we want to do!
GET OUT THE BLOODY VOTE! IGNORE THE OBAMA PROPAGANDA! GET THE MESSAGES OUT LOUD AND CLEAR AND CONSISTENT! BACK YOUR CAPTAIN NO MATTER WHAT — THAT’S McCAIN!
