We can have both a fiscal AND social conservative - Jindal, Palin, Romney etc
The point is that we must have someone who can COMMUNICATE on television. For all his admirable qualities, McCain is not telegenic and is no match on style against BO. AND THAT IS ALL THE MSM AND THUS THE AMERICAN PEOPLE CARE ABOUT.
Glad I could give you a laugh, FRiend!
David Brooks said he couldn’t imagine America wanting to look at THAT (McCain) for four years, because he looked tight in the shoulders (Brooks imitated) while Obama looked loose. Now there’s an intellectual opinion!
Huckabee up and apparantly “Joe the Plumber” is a guest this weekend.
I’ve been talking to them last 2 weeks....they are going for McCain...
a Rockefeller rino
Check out the AOL weekly straw poll. They changed it and you have to register to vote now with a legit email address and the results are quite interesting when you look at each state.... it is worth taking time to study the critical states results.
Huckabee just announced that JOE THE PLUMBER will be on his show this weekend.
This definitely puts a face on the campaign.
If anyone is interested, the transcript of tonight’s/last night’s debate is now up at the Commission on Presidential Debates website:

Also, for those looking for a replay, C-SPAN just started it again a few minutes ago.
I’ll go with Jindal or Sanford.
Of course he did, he spent the weekend traveling with Obama.
Any post-debate snap polls.......CNN/Gallup etc.?
I don’t mean the Fox “text” poll or an online poll anybody can go.
Did CNN or Fox announce any poll results over the air?
Sorry Huckabee, but I won’t be able to watch you either since I am turning off FOX FAKE NEWS now.
hannity too?
Well thats good news. SeeBS had Obama up by 14 yesterday. LOL
I think the problem is that so many are willing to substitute the thoughts of MSM as their own. No matter the source of news. Democrats I feel are the most guilty. So using my own discernment here and joined with a lot of freepers too, McCain won. Are we through? Don't know, but it certainly is a up hill climb.
If one is voting for Obama they're either Socialist at heart or uninformed or even misinformed. If uninformed they are left with very superficial reasons to vote for Obama. Misinformed folks have no one to blame but MSM and their lack of diligence to find the truth. Maybe this debate broke through to some of these folks. I hope.
Could it be McCain's choice of Palin? Maybe Kristol thinks she's too Conservative. Afterall, Kristol and others pushed for moving the Republican party to the middle.
I felt like punching my tv each time I saw Obama’s arrogant, crappy grin.
Here’s the post debate Intrade snapshot with the deltas. Basically Obama shows as the clear winner with a 4.6 point swing in his favor on the individual pres contract.
