I'd guess that there was a *bit* more to that conversation than just that, and Ailes came away with the understanding that if FOX didn't back off and Obama still won there would be retaliation. Like yanking White House press creds.Sorta like "community organizing" don't you think?

thank you - the comment wasn’t meant to be snide...

Obama’s inappropriate smiling is psychotic. Let’s see his medical records.

Fred Barnes has been wrong on almost every issue since the beginning of this campaign and tonight he said McCain didn’t do anything to fire up his base. McCain blew Obama away with facts.

Fox News Channel Text Message poll
A. McCain 87% B. Obama 11%
Special report just lost most of its viewer base.
Brit, are you buying the kool-aid for Fred, Bill, and Charles or do they effuse their own?

My husband listened to part of the debate on radio and the rest on TV and said the difference as to how it came across was remarkable.
I also thought it was rather remarkable that not more people in both Fox’s and CNN’s focus group had yet made up their mind(after this debate) as to who they going to vote for, considering a majority felt Obama won the debate.
To be honest, I thought Obama won on style and his responses to McCain’s attacks, and I understood what Krauthammer was saying. I was yelling at McCain to follow through on a few great points he had so those listening understood those points far more clearly. He missed some opportunities. We here all know McCain’s strength doesn’t lie in debates, especially when faced with a smoothly like Obama. I thought McCain won on passion, truthfulness and sincerity. I think he did the best he could and he gave the base what they were looking for. He had one tough row to hoe tonight.

It's not what you think. You appear to have a greater understanding about this then I, which isn't particularly hard. I just don't like the sound of secret meeting being conducted with the MSM. I don't care who it happens to be, just isn't ethical.

The only time I see my local news is when they have it on at the doctor's office. Why should I give a damn about the three-hundredth black-on-black gang shooting in Olney, Strawberry Mansion, Fishtown, or Germantown (west Philly)? I don't live in Philadelphia County, avoid it like the plague, and as far as I'm concerned, if they want to act like animals I say we should let them -- more food, water, and energy for the rest of us.
Left Germantown in 70 for the suburbs --dumb asses move out here and still vote for the democrats who ruined the cities

“I have to admit, I was totally taken with McCains performance. He kicked Obamas butt, as promised. Then - The FOX Panel..... my blood began to simmer with Brit, then I kind of ignored Juan, then went into full blown overboil with Kristol, and I blew out my aorta on Ninas tennis analogy.. and needed major surgery after Barnes. So, barely on life support, I hear Krauthammer... I flatlined. Goodbye Fox News. You are now on the banned list of news channels.”
SOMEBODY HAS GOTTEN TO FOX NEWS! THIS PERFORMANCE WAS INCREDIBLE.

YES!!
I am a Catholic, but have many very conservative reborn Christian friends. They are adamantly in support of ISRAEL. They have a great respect for the chosen people of God.
Yes... they will love Palin, who also loves them and wants to see them protected.
