Supposedly Ayers skated because the evidence collected against him included illegal wiretaps.

It would be interesting to see which state was the venue for this decision.

He had a very powerful politically connected (to Daley) father who may have had influence in the decision to dismiss the charges.

Dohrn did spend time in prison for refusing to testify before a grand jury.

Well well well, the supposedly illegal evidence was conducted by Mitchell and Mark Felt. Remember him, deep throat.

Wonder if the dismissal was nothing more than a smackdown of Richard Nixon.

Here's a link to the complete version.

Weather Underground

What a disgusting group they were. They all thought they were above all laws and rules and could kill with impunity. Some are still unrepentant about what they did!

McCain’s campaign has sent an incoherent message about 0bama.
It has failed to define him.
What good is talking about William Ayers or ACORN if the campaign doesn’t use these associations to draw a conclusion about 0bama?

McCain needs to use not one, but rather the aggregate of 0bama’s influences in life to bring him into focus. Frank Marshall Davis, Jeremiah Wright, William Ayers, Saul Alinsky, ACORN, The Democratic Socialists of America, The New Party. What do they all have in common?

The answer: a dangerous, radical, far left ideology.

McCain must make this about ideology, and take 0bama’s associations as instructive. He should highlight that Saul Alinsky taught radicals to cut their hair, put on a suit, and take down the government from the inside, and 0bama was so versed in Alinsky’s tactics that he taught them to ACORN activists.

McCain’s ACORN ad reveals that 0bama taught for ACORN, but it never reveals the substance of what he taught.
The substance is what we need to understand 0bama. The substance is what makes it tangible.

McCain needs to call 0bama wolf in sheep’s clothing. A clean-cut radical with very little papertrail infiltrating the system in order to destroy it.
Exposing 0bama’s radical agenda would be enough to ensure his defeat. It is what McCain must do.

Since Ayers has pretty much confessed to what he did, why can’t be charged with violating the Civil Rights of those he killed? It has worked in other cases.

You’re absolutely right. The problem with McCain is, as he’s demonstrated repeatedly over the years, he’s not hostile to the ideology in question. His capitulations to the left are a point of pride.

I don’t think he fully grasps what these people actually stand for. He doesn’t understand the inherent evil of Marxism. He just sees it as bad economic policy. Not the godless pseudo-religion hell-bent on destruction that it is.

Both Mark Felt and Edward Miller were pardoned by Ronald Reagan. Here is the text of that pardon:
_____________________________________

“In a phone call on January 30, 1981, Edwin Meese encouraged President Ronald Reagan to issue a pardon, and after further encouragement from law enforcement officials and former bureau agents, he did so. The pardon was given on March 26, but was not announced to the public until April 15. (The delay was partly because Reagan was shot on March 30.) Reagan wrote:

Pursuant to the grant of authority in article II, section 2 of the Constitution of the United States, I have granted full and unconditional pardons to W. Mark Felt and Edward S. Miller.
During their long careers, Mark Felt and Edward Miller served the Federal Bureau of Investigation and our nation with great distinction. To punish them further — after 3 years of criminal prosecution proceedings — would not serve the ends of justice.
Their convictions in the U.S. District Court, on appeal at the time I signed the pardons, grew out of their good-faith belief that their actions were necessary to preserve the security interests of our country. The record demonstrates that they acted not with criminal intent, but in the belief that they had grants of authority reaching to the highest levels of government.
America was at war in 1972, and Messrs. Felt and Miller followed procedures they believed essential to keep the Director of the FBI, the Attorney General, and the President of the United States advised of the activities of hostile foreign powers and their collaborators in this country. They have never denied their actions, but, in fact, came forward to acknowledge them publicly in order to relieve their subordinate agents from criminal actions.
Four years ago, thousands of draft evaders and others who violated the Selective Service laws were unconditionally pardoned by my predecessor. America was generous to those who refused to serve their country in the Vietnam war. We can be no less generous to two men who acted on high principle to bring an end to the terrorism that was threatening our nation.

Thank you for putting this up. I’m glad I didn’t miss this... Truly frightening and very educational for me as I was born in 1972, and we weren’t taught ANYTHING about Vietnam or that time in our regular classes. I knew some of what they did, but not all of it...

Obama is a COMMUNIST. They are attempting to take over the FREE AMERICA we know and love and turn it into the USSA (United SOVIET States of America)! Shame on the Democrats for allowing these traitors into their party, and for allowing them to take it over...

The media itself will have blood on its hands (literally or figuratively dependent upon how Obama deals with the election) for complete and utter failure or being complicit with the plan to overthrow Capitalism and institute Communism (don’t they realize they will lose their precious businesses)? If he loses, there will be riots in our streets, and the brainwashed Communists will revel in it.

These are not “liberals” or “Democrats” they are COMMUNISTS - just like the NEO-COMMUNISTS in the NEO-Soviet Union (Putin isn’t even pretending not to be anymore!).

Hugo Chavez the COMMUNIST DICTATOR of Venezuela has ownership of a VOTING MACHINE COMPANY that is supplying machines for THIS ELECTION.

Add in the VOTE FRAUD of ACORN, PROJECT VOTE and it becomes amazing how people can’t SEE through this.

Perhaps McCain’s campaign should buy up some time and just run THIS 10 minute Ad on TV! Especially in “Swing States” and Small-Town America...

Sobering. I’ll have my high schooler watch this as part of his history class, but I wish the connection between O and Ayers/Dohrn was made a little more clearly.

Social Studies teachers, in the interest of “fairness” have been teaching that American is an oppressor nation for quite a few years. Probably not all of them, but enough to have influences and entire generation of voters.

Good video. It definitely connects the anti-war mindset of Obama and Ayers. I believe Obama is as rabidly anti war as Ayers was — and is.

I was thinking of some elderly friends I have. They just don't want to face up to how bad Obama is. They're scared. I gave my best evidence of the Obama-Alynski connection, and they freaked, then came back with, "but there's no real proof Obama learned and taught Alynski's method." I sent them all the proof I could find, but they just are afraid of seeing the truth.

When I saw this video I thought I might send it to them, but I can just hear the ,"but there's no real proof ".

They are the same people who tell me we can get along with Islam. Then I ask them, what have you read about it ? Have you read the Koran, ?

They haven't, but they just don't like to see/hear/acknowledge any evil.

The fact that Evil is not only staring them in the face, but coming in the damn front door, they don't see.

Obama is the sweet talking salesman at the elderly lady's front door selling her a new roof that she doesn't need at an exorbitant cost. It doesn't help that these old folks still watch the alphabet news shows. My elderly dem MIL keeps saying SHE doesn't see this on the news, so it doesn't exist. I am noticing she is watching FOX news channel during the day now, I dare not ask if that is changing.
