McCain's last chance.

Well folks, here we are. Crunch time. Team McCain trails with two minutes left in the game. He's banged up. His whole body badly beaten from the early years against Team Obama's friends. He did well with that unbelievable touchdown pass to Palin. Let's face it though, he may have sustained a concussion. His passes and play calling are off lately.

John, run a reverse and get the damn ball into Palin's hands! She is the ONLY thing keeping this game close. Besides being able to catch very well, she has great legs. Perhaps a Statue of LIBERTY play where she throws the ball...to the American People.

Take all your money and make a 30 minute infomercial narrated by PALIN. Have a press conference at the National Press Club announcing it. Pass out the DVD's of it. Bring up all the points that for some reason YOU REFUSE to talk about. Go to the video tape. Obama, Biden, Ayers, Resko, Fannie Mae, Franks, Johnson, Mainstream media, all the others. You must let the average schmoe in on the Big Secrets the MSM are not telling them about..

I know Palin can look into that camera and explain all this well. You think that your opponents like and respect you. You don't seem to want to offend those "on the other side of the aisle". You are wrong, John. They despise everything about you. They despise the fact that you were a "tool" for the US Government fighting their compatriots in Vietnam. They hate all Republicans. Even you.

Why go around the country begging for votes? Save the gas. Any independent who would be willing to vote for Team McCain owns a TV. Bring the message to their homes. Thirty second clips aren't cutting it.

Best of luck on you're endeavor, John. America's freedom rests on the decisions you make from now until the election.

I wouldn't want that kind of pressure.

And he smells vaguely of Old Spice.

Exactly. At the end of his convention speech, he said, “Stand up and fight. Stand up and fight.”

Well, it’s time for McCain to STAND UP AND FIGHT!

that song always pissed me off because if you think about it, he was right the song IS about him, But I digress

I think McCain could have totally won the election slam dunk if he had balls to vote against the bailout, he could have said something about all the pork added to the bill and something like this is the reason I need go to Washington, Obama voted for millions for this millions for that
but he needed to be bipartisan
as if the democrats were bipartisan on this issue, they may have voted together but the Dem's are blaming McCain and Bush every chance they get, meanwhile John wants to play nice. If he wants to win he better take off the gloves, nice guys finish LAST.

I have 50 bucks that says he blows it, even though he still might win.

Are they behind by a field goal or touchdown?

They are behind by 7 points. A field goal won't win it. A touchdown will only tie it (and then only if they kick the extra point too). Unfortunately, they can't count on overtime because Obama has already won the toss and will receive the ball in overtime (thanks to the mainstream media). So McCain and Palin are going to have to go for the two-point conversion after the touchdown.

It can be done however. The Obama defensive line is very weak. They are vulnerable. McCain/Palin don't need to throw any hail Marys. They can play smashmouth football and run the ball the rest of the day. All McCain has to do is hand off the ball to Palin and let her run down the middle. 7 yards here. 8 yards there. She'll be in the end zone five or six plays later. Then on the two-point conversion, hand the ball to Palin and watch her take it to the end zone again.

OK, enough of the football analogies. But you get the point. It's time to take the offensive and ram it down their throats. We don't need a "nice-guy" Dole/Kemp redux. When Republicans are the nice guys - they lose. Every time.

“John, run a reverse and get the damn ball into Palin’s hands!”

Then he went running off in the opposite direction and crashed headfirst into the goalpost knocking out the rest of the 1 or 2 brain cells he may have had left.

Making and distributing DVDs of Sarah's speeches would be great.

Buying her air time to address the people directly would also be great.

You are drinking the MSM koolaid.

Barry goes 2.5% down and McCain rises 2.5% you have a tied race. That can turn in a three day period. Most polls don't show Barry with +50%. That has to really worry them. Thirty days is an eternity in politics.
McCain Ads in NH beginning today attack liberals, Dems and their failed economic policies.

I didn't realize how many amateur Karl Rove’s there were. Over the last 30 days there are thousands!

McCain needs to go back, mentally, to when he was flying a fighter plane. What would he do if he was trailing an enemy fighter and if he didn’t shoot him down, the enemy could turn on him and shoot him down? McCain needs to get that fighter attitude back. Go on the attack and shoot down Obama every chance he gets.

I live in Tampa and can not get tickets for Monday's Palin visit. They first printed 5000 tickets then added 5000 more and planned to print 10,000 Saturday. All, and I repeat All the tickets are gone. They estimate that 30,000 people will show up. She is the key in this campaign. Now if we can get McCain to act like he wants to win.

"McCain is still recovering from his BAILOUT broken play."

McCain can now drop the whole "Maverick" title. It doesn't fit a go-along-to-get-along-lets-all-hold-hands-and-work-together man. He is NO Maverick...more like Festus from Gunsmoke or Deputy Barney Fife. Sarah Palin is more Marshall Dillon or Andy Taylor and McCain the 'sidekick'.

With all due respect, I don't read the post as an vanity of despair seeking to demoralize.

I read it as a plea to McCain to stop trying to get along with democrats, "reaching across the isle", if you will. Its like he has some kind of death wish proposing to put socialists in his cabinet, and ask Algore for energy advice for crying out loud. THIS IS what is demoralizing and disguisting us and makes it really hard for conservatives to support him.

I submit to you that if it were not for Sarah, McCain would be 20 or 30 points behind, with no chance of McCain winning dog catcher, let alone POTUS.

I will vote for Sarah, hoping that McCain will come along, stop the shiite, and start attacking the democrats instead of trying to get along with them.

I'll give the Democrats one thing, they stick to their principles, they don't give a rat's ass about getting along with conservatives....they hate conservatives and want to politically kill every one......and in some cases, literally kill.

It was not a joke....Rush played the clip...McCain saying that he had great "respect" for Algore and intended to put him as an advisor on energy.

Rush was absolutely speechless....just sighed.....
