McCain's last chance.

Well folks, here we are. Crunch time. Team McCain trails with two minutes left in the game. He's banged up. His whole body badly beaten from the early years against Team Obama's friends. He did well with that unbelievable touchdown pass to Palin. Let's face it though, he may have sustained a concussion. His passes and play calling are off lately.

John, run a reverse and get the damn ball into Palin's hands! She is the ONLY thing keeping this game close. Besides being able to catch very well, she has great legs. Perhaps a Statue of LIBERTY play where she throws the ball...to the American People.

Take all your money and make a 30 minute infomercial narrated by PALIN. Have a press conference at the National Press Club announcing it. Pass out the DVD's of it. Bring up all the points that for some reason YOU REFUSE to talk about. Go to the video tape. Obama, Biden, Ayers, Resko, Fannie Mae, Franks, Johnson, Mainstream media, all the others. You must let the average schmoe in on the Big Secrets the MSM are not telling them about..

I know Palin can look into that camera and explain all this well. You think that your opponents like and respect you. You don't seem to want to offend those "on the other side of the aisle". You are wrong, John. They despise everything about you. They despise the fact that you were a "tool" for the US Government fighting their compatriots in Vietnam. They hate all Republicans. Even you.

Why go around the country begging for votes? Save the gas. Any independent who would be willing to vote for Team McCain owns a TV. Bring the message to their homes. Thirty second clips aren't cutting it.

Best of luck on you're endeavor, John. America's freedom rests on the decisions you make from now until the election.

I wouldn't want that kind of pressure.

Stop reading the polls and do not believe them. The MSM and Obama are playing you. The dying lib newspapers and MSM are trying to extract as much money from both campaigns especially Obama’s offshore money (Saudi). The pollsters will have to tighten up because when McCain wins they will have egg on their faces. This happens next week.

Volunteer and contribute. If you can afford it - contribute. If you cannot - volunteer - forget the football games on TV. If you can afford both - do both.

McCain is winning in FL, GA, VA, OH and on and on. McCain said his internal polls show +7 in Florida and that is about right. I would guess at worst +5. McCain is +1 or tied in MN and WS! Sarah and Todd can WIN - yes WIN WS, MN and MI plus lock down Ohio and probably win PA.

Sarah is a bigger star than Obama. I am in Florida and my neighborhood has twice as many McCain signs as Bush signs in 2000 and 2004. These people have money and they know Obama will take it - ALL. I hope they have their checkbooks out like me.

McCain will get probably 30-40% of the Hillary vote and some Hillary voters will stay home. I work with a Hillary Democrat who has a Dem husband and they are trying to get anyone they know to vote McCain. They loathe Obama.

Obama has real problems with the Jewish vote in Florida and it will also translate to PA, MI, OH, NJ, NY and other states. Obama has and had people connected to Hamas on his campaign.

Volunteer and Contribute. Get the credit card out because the checkbook is not fast enough now.

We have to get Sarah to WS, MN, MI and Iowa. I think we can win all of those states. McCain is +1 or tied in MN and WS.

Why doesn’t McCain know the word FIGHT rather than playing partisan to lying, scum, back-stabbing vipers! LEAD and with a fist!

Can’t we all just write in Sarah and be done with it?

Wake up. It’s the McCain/Palin ticket, not the Palin/McCain ticket. John’s going to be the guy in charge and she’s going to function as his 2nd. Like all VP’s if elected, she’s going to spend a lot of time attending funerals across the globe while McCain is in charge of the country.

“I am beginning to believe that too many people think Obama is going to win and have written off McCain.”

Whose fault is it but McCain’s? He never had his heart in the campaign and I have a feeling that all he really wants is to be liked among his “esteemed colleagues from across the aisle” not knowing that they laugh at him behind his back. I have a feeling that Palin has been hoodwinked.

>>>>>McCain has to stop demoralizing the base....

Conservatives never thought McCain was the right choice. His pick of Gov Palin was a smart move, but its the top of the ticket that counts most and McCain hasn't been fighting to win. Going back to WashDC to help with the credit crunch debate, was the right move. Supporting the bailout was the wrong move.

McCain's bipartisan approach to campaigning hasn't worked. He has to expose Obama for being a liberal and pound him on issue after issue. In the first debate, even though McCain won, he chose not to attack his opponent on his liberal ideology. Allowing Obama to stand next to him and look presidential works to Obama's advantage.

There is only 30 days to go, time is quickly running out and only McCain can turn this around.

Sheesh. Another vanity of despair from somebody who joined us just in time to demoralize us for the election.

McCain is losing because Obama’s favorability rating (per Rasmussen) is 58%. He must drive this down and a character attack is EXACTLY the way to do it.

Unleashing Palin with this whole Obama’s Not Qualified To Be CIC is a nice start.

More please.

A proposal:

(will seem ridiculous perhaps, but it’s not meant to be)

John McCain calls a presser next week, alongside some large public event he already has scheduled with Governor Palin.

So a big media event. John tells all the media outlets, he has a major announcement to make about his campaign.

EVERY MEDIA OUTLET is running live, for the announcement.

John McCain reviews his own qualifications, and why he’s ready to be President.

Then he pauses. He then looks serious, and humble.

He gathers his thoughts, then slowly at first, mentioned to the cameras — to the American people, he understands he’s not as young as he used to be.

He goes on the say he’s proud and excited with his wisdom in selecting Sarah Palin as his running mate.

He reviews her accomplishments briefly, and brings her alongside. Then he drops the bombshell:

John McCain, Sarah Palin standing at his side, pledges that once elected President, he will serve exactly three years.

From the moment he takes office, his second job will be, preparing Sarah Palin to assume the job of US President, in the year 2011.

The landslide, will be historic.

This is so winable it's pathetic. But McCain needs to attack. He's too nice - like Bob Dole. His attacks don't need to be untruthful. How about running the Rev. Wright's “God Damn America” speech over and over again? And why are they advertising in California?? Every dime needs to be spent in the battleground states. Geez, Hillary kicked Obama's a$$ all over America. How about playing some of her attack ads?

I don’t buy into the constant defeatist outlook.

Vanity, look at me, the world is over posts....crapola.

Pull our head out of the sand Doug!

You have a nominee that is doing his best to alienate his base to get voters that are not natural to the GOP!

You should be worried!

You lost me at McCain is behind. Being you are fairly new here and this is a ‘the end is near and all is lost’ post I assume you are a DU troll.

Republicans are always behind at this point. The polls are over sampling the retards, sorry I mean the democrats by as much as eight points.

With that tought in mind, when you see a poll with Barrack Obama-Bush up by 3 points but they over sampled by 8 that means McCain is up by 5.

Go back to DU and don’t forget to take your meds.

Problem is the media headlines every day is Obama does everything right and never wrongs... and McCain and Palin are what’s wrong with America..... the perception created by the media is becoming the factor.... when Sarah came on board that night on national TV most Americans saw everything that they wanted... since then the media has shown them awful non truths and destroyed that feeling ... we are being duped as a country by the powerfuls that control 90% of the news outlets.
