Pray for W, McCain and Our Troops
We went to see it yesterday and enjoyed it...in the heart of doomed democrap controlled Buffalo——simplistic and somewhat silly but mainly such a refreshing moment away for the leftist garbage we get 24-7. (about 50 people watching)
I really laughed at the “undead” - the ACLU lawyers-—loved Dennis Hopper as the judge.
The portrayal of Washington done by Voight was stellar...eerily accurate—although nobody today really knows what he was like in the flesh.
Thanks, Dolly, I saw the trailer and laughed out loud.
I haven’t been to a movie in I can’t remember when, but this is one I don’t want to miss!
Freepers, please see this movie THIS WEEKEND. It is funny, timely, patriotic, and sticks numerous thumbs into the eyes of the left.
The producer and distributor, both of whom I saw last night, are concerned about the early box office results.
Opening weekend means everything in terms of perception, and future support from exhibitors.
This movie deserves to be a hit. Let’s help make it so!
If the movie is too far away for you to see it you can still support conservatism and slap HollyRottenwood in the face. I bought four tickets online, although I won’t be able to go.
Being able to enjoy the film is only a small part of my motivation for buying these tickets. The lesser of my motivations will not be sated, but the greater of them has been.
I just got home from the movie. The menfolk in the house are on a backpacking trip, so I treated myself and just loved it. With all the madness of this election season, I really needed to laugh, and it did me a world of good. Now I have to try to get the rest of the family to see it, so I can go again!
Saw it today. Pretty funny.
We saw it and enjoyed it. I was giggling most of the way through, as were most of the other folks in the audience. It has potential to be a ‘cult classic’ in that I’m sure it will improve with additional viewings with like-minded friends and everyone can shout out the lines like you’re watching Monty Python or an Evil Dead flick.
The plot did have problems, as others have stated upthread, but the problem wasn’t that something was ‘missing.’ The problem was that there was too much crammed into one movie. The screenplay needed serious and disciplined editing. There were three or four complete movies stuffed into one - was it Princess Bride? was it Dickens? was it Shaun of the Dead (*loved* the zombies, btw)? was it Bollywood? Pick one story. Keep it simple. Tell it well. Do it again five more more times for sequels.
Saw the movie tonight with hubby and 19 year old son. Thought it was hilarious and really enjoyed this conservative movie! One up for the good guys!
Saw it tonight...I never laughed so hard while feeling so good doing it. It nails the left hard. I’m still shocked that many stars appeared in this knowing it may hurt their careers. I thoroughly enjoyed it, laughed at most of the skits and appreciated the humor in the ones I didn’t laugh at.
Every conservative should see this movie. Every liberal needs to see this movie. Support this effort so more will be made!
Question: How many times is Michael slapped on his face?
We can have humor and be funny on the screen. Moore is a propagandist......big difference.
It's not the Coen brothers, but it's so bad it's good, if that makes any sense. Laughed out loud a few times and clapped and cheered at the end. It's a film only a conservative could love.
I took my three kids to see it; my youngest is almost 11 and my girls are teenagers. They loved it...I enjoyed it. I had to explain a few things prior to the movie so they would “get it.” They said they did.
