She really demonstrated tonight that shes way more than the MSM understood. The TV audience had a chance to see it tonight. This is why their campaign can't rely on proxies to get the word out...these debates are the only chance for them to talk unfiltered to the American people, and if Sen. McCain doesn't get more direct and tie Obama to the mess he and his buddies created at Fannie Mae (and how they ripped us all off), then I will lose a great deal of respect for him and begin to wonder if he's not tied more closely to the mess than he admits.

We have two presidential debates left. After that its up to the voters. The fact Obama won the first one doesn't mean anything. In 2004, Kerry gained a lead in the polls after he won the first debate with Bush and in the two subsequent debates Bush managed to regain the lead. Right now, the MSM is declaring the election over. I wouldn't be so quick as to say that yet. There are events yet to come that could well change the outcome.

Agree on your points, especially the judges response, which is supposed to scare people into voting for Obama so he can appoint SCOTUS judges who legislate from the bench.

The reason this quote hit me so powerfully: I was born in 1942. I remember real freedom. If my grandkids pull some of the stunts I did growing up (just what normal kids did) they will be in reform school. We have lost an amazing amount of freedom since then. Obama can be expected to tighten the screws lots more.

So she had to play catch up?
I thought that they would alternate who went first, but I guess not.

I must agree: Gwen, to her credit, was quite fair this evening.

You are correct. She was restrained by not blowing up the House vote tomorrow.
Once this is completed, McCain and Palin can raise Hell. On taxes too.

For those who may think of me as a troll, or think only being on FR since 2005.
My point was based on an expectation that Sarah take Biden to the watershed and leave no doubt as who won this thing.
The first 10 minutes , while Joe was spewing a bunch of stuff that made no sense, Sarah seemed a little nervous and shyed away from substance.
When the down to earth Sarah showed up and style, substance and the Reagan lines came out, the steamroller started to point towards Biden and that was that.
I think the SNL crowd better leave her alone now.
A few minutes ago, the best line dost debate, from Dick Morris,”it looked like Joe Biden was on downers.”
A troll, hardly.
How many different ways can I say this—GOD HELPS US IF NOBAMA WINS

everybody gets worked up....i listened to Mac and Obama on radio last debate....I though Mac got whacked....many here thought I was nuts to say so
folks just see it different, we thought she did great...i guess it’s persepctive
she did miss some opportunities but less than Mac did
i still don’t know why they let O or Biden skate on Ayers and Wright...

During his debate with Obama when Obama said he warned (and last year wrote to Paulson) asking something be done about reforming current unfair mortgage practices, McCain simply said he did as well, almost as an aside. What he should have said it that he did more than write to Paulson but as early as 2005 he co-sponsored legislation of the Federal Housing Enterprise Regulatory Reform Act of 2005, S. 190, for quick passage of GSE regulatory reform legislation warning that if congress didn't act the tax payers will be exposed to enormous risks.
