Okay, folks. Let's keep an eye on this debate and see if Sarah can beat down hairplug.
I chose to stay with the energy. They are out of the OODA Loop at this point.
I don’t think that Biden was the one to put out that story. He was out of town when the accident happened and the story that she was hit by this drunken truck driver was put out immediately. Biden just adopted the easiest story.
From what I read today, his wife was absorbed in something going on in the back seat and didn’t even look in the direction of the truck. So, if the boys were misbehaving in the back seat and it resulted in a tragedy, Biden may have just adopted the story of the drunken truck driver. He may not even remember the truth.
The important thing is that she showed that she isn’t stupid, and that she is informed and is VP material and no worse than Biden for being second in line. I think that was the biggest hurdle she needed to pass tonight for the undecided crowds.

That doesn't surprise me. Did you just see Dick Morris smack down Alan Colmes? Morris said Palin won hands down. Colmes starts spewing the Dems talking points, saying she talked about the middle-class...John McCain repeatedly "voted against a minimum wage increase. John McCain repeatedly voted against renewable energy." Morris cut in and said: "Alan, why do you always wait until my segments to get reading practice in with your talking points? Save that for a Republican. It is that you can't think, or you only know how to read those talking points?
