Okay, folks. Let's keep an eye on this debate and see if Sarah can beat down hairplug.
I have to point out that we on FR are very well educated on issues and I don’t think anyone alive can come up with the answers that the collective mind of FR can.
There is not a single debate or interview that I don’t see someone typing, “Oh, he or she should bring that up!” Perhaps they should, perhaps they shouldn’t. But nobody hits all the points we bring up here.
Those numbers are there before the MoveOn.org’ers hit it.
So, where are the poles. Time to get voting and voting often like they do here in Michigan!
I’m stuck on Joe saying we should build clean coal plants in China and schools in Pakistan.

She missed an amazing opportunity to destroy OBiden regarding the war, but other than that she was the same Sarah we were amazed with at the convention. Biden was a career politician.
Regardless of who scored more points I think those of us sitting at home watching CSpan connected much more with her than with .. that other guy.

Best thing about this debate is that all of America just saw that the Sarah Palin the media tried to create and ram down their throats is not the real Sarah Palin.

Sarah looked great.
I liked her comments on freedom and fighthing for it. I would have said it is those Marxist/democrats including Obama who we will have to fight to keep our freedom and prosperity.
I liked her comments on how government is the problem not the solution.

Unless the public has just been waiting to see if Palin is capable to take on the challenges of the Presidency this debate changed nothing, no matter how fantastic she was. Hate to be naysayer and all, bu8t the reality of history is that VP debates tend to do very little to effect the final vote.
Thank CBS and NBC. They just lost any cred with these groups.
You know, we said the same thing about Kerry looking so botoxed that he was expressionless. I saw Kerry last night on Fox and he has had so much surgery or whatever that he looks ten years younger than he did in 2004, and more handsome,too.
What an amazing transformation! He’ll probably be looking for a new widow, soon.
Surprisingly, Stephanopolous, Sawyer, and Gibson didn’t immediately go into attacking her either. They said they weren’t sure how things were going to be viewed, but suggested that it would go along party lines... And that both parties would probably be happy with the way things went.
I turned it off when they started “fact-checking” and the first thing the guy doing that segment did was completely mis-characterize a comment Palin made by only using HALF of her statement, and ignoring the other half completely.
She really did, no errors at all, except maybe the agreement with McCain on global warming, ugh ...
Sarah delivered.
Greta was great. She loved it. I didn't know Greta was from the midwest.
