Biden looked like a dirty old man. After the debate ended he went over to Sarah and was rubbing her arm, Sarah’s daughter came over and his hands were all over her shoulders. I found that bad form and quite frankly disgusting. Sarah did FANTASTIC and the talking heads now on Fox are all saying Sarah did very well! Yeah

I was thinking the same thing. I'm glad someone else noticed.

I gotta express some relief that the choir here sees the debate as having gone well for Palin. I was not feeling good about it early on, but the way she dug at the Phlegmocrat ticket for the final two thirds of the debate was effective. She was much more engaging on TV than I think I found her to be by just listening. The big thing she did as the debate went on is that she got away from simply saying the ticket is the maverick ticket, which I do think she overused early on. Her foreign policy discussions I think were plenty substantive, yet put in terms easy to understand.

Again, I can’t necessarily call it resounding, but a good and I think victorious performance overall.

She did great! She did talk about Fannie and Freddie and how McCain wanted to fix it years ago. Biden didn't hang anything on McCain...Biden came across as the blithering idiot that he is. Would you prefer that Sarah come across as a screaming shrew like Hillary?

Frank Luntz on FOX had his focus group. Most everyone said she won. Everyone said she did better than expected.
