I listen to Rush, three hours a day. I too feel that the media is in the tank. They did the same thing in 92 but now he have the internet, which we didn't back then. I worked my tail off and watched Bush clean his clock back then and the media stole it away from us by pushing Perot down out throats.
The polls are a joke. They are designed to sway opinion, not measure it. Obama is a clown, a total media product with little to offer. Our country will be in danger if he assumes the top job.

I haven't trusted the media since I read Bozell and Bakers... “and that's the way it isn't” back in 90. Even as a kid I wondered why they always kept printing and reporting stories that disparaged my father's professions (police officer, Army sergant) while glorifying the people that were trying to kill him (Weather Underground, Black Panthers)..

As for palin, I was with Laura Ingraham earlier this year when she said that Palin would be a great pick. She has the outsider appeal people on our side like but she has to hit Biden hard in the next debate to shut everyone up. That won't change how I feel but it needs to change how the undecided feel.

Thirty undecideds in Vegas w/Luntz. For one thing, Vegans (many Vegans) get plastic surgery themselves and are older than they appear. There are lots of strippers in Vegas and when Vegans are used to seeing strippers and show people, regular people don’t measure up visually for them. Not all Vegans are shallow but it’s part of the culture out there to self promote and get work done.

Fox & Friends this morning had quite different numbers. Something like 84% thought McCain did best, 15% Obama, and 1% undecided. Not sure of the exact numbers but it was above 80% for McCain.

Of course that may reflect self-selection on the part of the viewers--the more left-wing viewers would have been watching on one of the left-wing stations like CNN, MSNBC, CBS, NBC, ABC, or PBS.

Undecideds are different from independents. You can have 20 undecideds who are all democrats. Frank Luntz found them in Vegas at a casino.
