A federal grand jury in Chattanooga, Tenn., reportedly adjourned today without delivering an indictment in the hacking of Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin's personal e-mail account.
The grand jury heard testimony this morning from three friends of University of Tennessee student David Kernell, according to the Chattanooga Times-Free Press, but ended its session around noon without returning an indictment.

I’m sure the FBI sprinkled their “magic dust” on the evidence and made it all go away.

It doesn’t say they no-billed it, it just says they adjourned for the day without returning a true bill of indictment. Need more info to get truly pissed.

attorney Wade Davies, who issued a statement saying, "We are confident that the truth will emerge as we go through the process. David is a decent and intelligent young man, and I look forward to assisting him during this difficult period." What is this truth and why is it so difficult to come clean with what happened?

David is a decent and intelligent young man If that's his lawyer's honest opinion, I think Rubico needs a smarter lawyer.

Forty posts on a grand-jury thread and not one instance of the phrase “ham sandwich”?

I am just happy he is incurring legal fees. That’s punishment enough.

It’s been over a week since the kid was outed on the web. Plenty of time to wipe his hard drive and clean the house of any incriminating evidence.

How in the world did a grand jury get it this quickly, they just served the warrant on Monday, and generally, Grand Juries serve for a week or two at a time? Something doesnt smell right with this story. I was just on grand jury for 18 weeks. We met one day a week. There were 4 other grand juries sitting for each other day of the week so this is entirely possible.

All criminal acts are stupid.
Actions and decisions should result in consequences..... That’s not a tough concept for most conservatives.
Please rethink your position.

They’re not finished presenting the case yet.
Sheesh.

Well duh!
Did anyone really believe this Dem operative would ever be punished?
Democrats are above the law. We may as well get used to it.
