Uncharacteristically low turnout for Barack Obama rally in Green Bay, Wisc.

GREEN BAY, Wis. — Hoping to shore up support in his suddenly undependable backyard, Democratic presidential nominee Barack Obama flew here Monday to talk about how he’d handle economic crises as president.

Recent polls have shown that Wisconsin — once pretty solidly in Obama’s column — is now a statistical dead heat between Obama and Republican John McCain.

“You all know that you hold this election in your hands,” Sen. Russ Feingold, a Democrat who said he worked on ethics legislation with Obama, told a crowd of about 6,000 cheering Obama fans in the arena next to Lambeau Field.

Does Obama still need to spend time fundraising? The Hollywood extravaganza grossed enough for 3 days, if I figure right, and it cost him a day on the trail.

What’s “unexpected”?

The crowds have been dwindling since the moment he “urned” the nomination.

Holy crap! Did you see the subtitle on the article?!

McCain/Palin drew 4,000 more supporters at same venue a week ago

Low Wisc. turnout only means that the Demoncratz will vote three times instead of the requisite two.

Ever since google deliberately disappeared half a MILLION hits for ‘obama birth certificate’ in mid July, I have studiously avoided them.

The bloom is off the black rose. Sarah the VP candidate drew 4000 more people than the dimocRAT Presidential candidate. Bwahahahahahahahahaha.

I saw the subtitle and that is why I think something is “fishy.”

Will Biden get thrown to the curb for Hillary? Then could you see the new headlines?... “Only 4,000 people showed up for Obama 2 weeks ago but there are 12,000 people here on October 3rd that has rejuvenated the Obama campaign with Clinton at Obama’s side.”

I’m still convinced this could be the second coming of George McGovern. Obama really could lose big.

If McCain punishes Obama in the first presidential debate, like he did at Rick Warren's Q&A session, then a landslide is possible.

The shine is wearing off. People are getting past the newness, and realizing this guy isn’t really what he seemed.

The Obambi has accomplished quite a feat: he's both more and less than what he seemed. He's more radical, more racist, more marxist-socialist, and more divisive; and he's less intelligent, less experienced, less unifying, and much less ready to lead the greatest nation in the history of the world.

And if he claims managing his campaign is his "executive experience," he's doomed. Because of the nomination of Gov. Palin, he has to campaign in more of the 57 states more of the time, he has to spend more time on fundraising because he flip-flopped on public funding while believing the dem party cash cow would give him billions, and now he has to take three days off to prepare for the "national security" debate while sending his mouthpieces out whining about how it's not fair that national security is first. He's the Dope With No Hope.

Just a week ago, John McCain and his vice-presidential nominee Sarah Palin — who can bring out crowds the way Obama can — appeared in this same stadium, Resch Center, to a crowd of 10,000 fans. There were an uncharacteristic amount of empty orange seats for Obama’s rally.

You mentioned the subtitle in your post, "McCain/Palin drew 4,000 more supporters at same venue a week ago."

That is the real story right there!!! :-) Let's pray the higher attendance turns into votes on election day.

I’m looking forward to him making the talk show circuit after the elections:

“Ladies and Gentlemen, our next guest bears a strong resemblance to the Earth.

The Earth, as you will recall, is flattened at the poles, and that is precisely what happened to Barak 0bama...

Out of curiosity I ran “obama birth certificate” searches on Yahoo and Google.

Results:

Yahoo......3,510,000
google.........502,000

Speaks volumes, doesn’t it?

Obama does not understand running for president takes more skill then “community organizing” tactics..America is not the HOOD.

Differences in floor staging made it look like Obama had more than he actually did.

The McCain event had standing room only on the event floor - no chairs. The Obama event had chairs set up on the floor with wide aisles - telephoto lenses on photog cameras condensed the depth of field to make the room look much more full than it was. The McCain event was full up to the rafters while the Obama event only filled the lower portion of the bowl.

The Milwaukee Journal estimated “several thousand” at the Obama event yesterday - likely more truthful than the revised “6,000” estimate.

The cue line for the McCain event stretched 3/4 to a full mile before the even opened up - clear out to Oneida ave, entirely around the Packers practice facilty and then back to “Holmgren way” and a couple blocks past there.

The line outside while McCain and Palin were appearing at the Resch Center was still longer than the Obama cue line was at any point leading up to or during Obama’s event.

A very poor showing - made worse by the appearance by Governor Doyle (who defeated Mark Green, from Green Bay) last election cycle, Senator Kohl (a Milwaukee guy) and Senator Russ Feingold (a Madison guy). The Wisconsin dynamic is Milwaukee and Madison vs the rest of the state. Many if not a majority of folks in Green Bay resent the influence that Milwaukee (and its liberal decay) have on the rest of the state.

Obama should have gone elsewhere and kept his pals in Milwaukee to “get out the vote.”

My error. It was half a million hits on an IMAGE search.

In 3 days half a million hits of actual images of his BC magically transmogrified into less than 50,000 images of bowls of fruit, party scenes, and thousands of other things that were anything but his BC.

I don’t know what the frequency of the crawlers is,

but I’ve seen posts of my own show up within 15 minutes of posting them.

Uncharacteristically low turnout for Barack Obama rally in Green Bay, Wisc.

Actually, it's not uncharacteristic at all! Like the 75,000 person rally in Portland, Oregon? 4,000 showed up for Obama and the other 71,000 for the free concert beforehand.

Or the 200,000 in Germany where 10,000 showed up for Obama and 190,000 showed up for the free concerts.

See, Team Obama screwed up and forgot to have the free concert first!
