Hopefully we find that out with O’Reilly.

Michelle Malkin is all over it too.

Even Democrats would agree that this would be very bad for Obama, if this State Rep is involved.

I believe the MSM cocoon is begining to bias all the polls as people say they support Obama to avoid conflict with the insane left. Finally, Tucker Carlson, the witty veteran of cable television shows, who’s been mercilessly and unfairly maligned by left-wingers, expressed an opinion that’s close to my own. Tucker Carlson said “Even those who supported Hillary in the primaries will scold the rest of us for voting against a black man. They’ll be shrill and self-righteous, more even than usual, and they’ll never stop. It’s almost enough to make you want to vote for Obama, just so we won’t have to hear them.”

Hopefully, it’s a “politically active” brat-child who lives in their basement.

The downside is that now I have to actually watch O’Really to find out.....:-P

I didn’t see you posting a definite McCain win when he was ahead. Today is not election day and you are doom and gloom. As to catowner this seems to be a pattern of posting any poll that has McCain behind and yet it has been explained in other posts that polls are not the be-all. The Dems have great influence over many polls. Do you know what questions were really asked and how or the true number of Dems, Republicans or Independents? This is hardly over!

I hope so because lately, Mccain has not been able to get out of his own way. Pick an ad they all will work.
Taxes are Patriotic
Fannie Freddie campaign contributions
Obamas Iraq sneakiness as per Iraq officials.
If I forget something you can add to the list

Exactly. Three news cycles were lost trying to be all statesman-like. Meanwhile the chitown thug was hammering him.

How’d that work? Time to get back on the attack.

Polls are meant to shape opinion, not measure it. Instead of worrying about them, ignore them. Get out there and do something to make sure McCain/Palin wins in November.

I agree that McCain lied with his “The economy is fundamentaly sound” line. Instead of recognizing the seriousness of the crisis, and providing leadership by explaining what is happening to the american people. In order to show he understands the business cycle, and providing one or two solutions that will clearly help.
He doesn’t need to solve the crisis, just provide leadership.

there is a disturbing trend among the media in articles, where, instead of reporting obama’s lies and distortions, they make statements such one this morning which says that mccains’s adds are a misstatement of obama’s tax incease.

so in an alleged news article they are helping obama with their horribly biased approach....disgusting.

this is getting more blatant and will evenutally help the chosen one against mccain.

No my friend. This is a left leaning site, so forget the commentary.

Barone and Rush like the site because they use trends , LV and RV voters to make it pretty actual.

Their numbers show McCain ahead.

He should be talking about the types of people he will have in government, that he won’t stand for politically connected people running institutions into the ground and that he will look for ways to get government out of the market so the best and brightest can figure it out.

Personnally I think the polls are pretty useless this year. All the pollsters models depend on the generic Dem/Repub question. But that question has very little to do with the Presidential Election this year.

Obama urging his supporters to "get in your neighbors face" will do even more for Republican turnout than Palin.

I will predict this though. If Obama and McCain are about tied in the polls come election day, McCain will be the next POTUS.

Cool. Gallup is back to form...what is the breakdown? 45% ‘rats, 27% Republicans, 23% independents?

Even if there is a swing going to Obama, I find it hard to believe that it’s two points a day, EVERY day.

There is nothing to indicate a tsunami of Obama support happening in that short period of time.

Keep in mind, millions of people in red states are still without power/water. They have lost their homes and are uprooted. I doubt they are interesting or able to talk to pollsters.

Last time we had a major hurricane (2 weeks ago) in the southern red states (Gustav), Obama had a 6 point lead in Gallup.

And last week Gallup had McCain up 4. This week, they have Obama back up 4. Seems like a lot of poll volatility to me.

Last week when McCain was up 4, did most folks here say the race was over? A few, but not many. So why all the chicken little stuff this week?

Trends, state polls, and poll internals all look good for McCain. Top numbers are always adjusted for D/R/I breakdowns, which may or may not be correct.
