Yes, the Obama Campaign submitted a COLB, which is a SHORT form that references that there is some type of information on file at the Hawaii Vital Statistics office; but blacked out the file number so no cross reference can be done on the Birth Certificate (the long form)

Look at the high-res pictures of Obama's COLB on factcheck.org...the file number is there, along with the raised seal...this is a losing battle. We can beat Obama on the issues, we don't need to make stuff up.

I don't know when the discovery phase is scheduled for completion.

I do recall that the Judge in the case said he wanted to expedite matters because of the urgency of the case due to the upcoming election.

I would think that Obama would produce a valid birth certificate and submit it as evidence at the first opportunity. If the Judge and other court experts examine it, and Hawaii state officials submit affidavits attesting to its validity, the case would be dismissed immediately.

If Obama follows any other course of action, it would be very unusual. A logical inference would be that he has something to hide.

I read the whole thing - nothing relevant whatsoever, just conspiracy-theorist type questions that ignore the fact that there are HI-RES PHOTOS OF THE ACTUAL COLB ON THE WEB. Go look at them. Unless you’re now going to argue that these photos are forged, as well as the COLB, the issue has been resolved. The COLB is legit. Time to move on.

Were this true, he would be a foreign national who has attempted to defraud the USA in an attempt to be elected president. It would be difficult to NOT conclude he was taking part in an illegal political coup. There has to be at least one federal law that could result in significant jail time for such an offense.

If there isn’t, there oughta be.

Joe Biden should have surely known that if this is proven that Obama is not qualified, that Biden should have known... could he claim ignorance ????? That he was not aware of it ?
These are important questions to ask.

If Obama can not produce a birth certificate, or refuses to do so, then this story will go quickly from being a side-show to a major scandal in very short order.

If Berg cannot show legal standing in the suit then it'll be thrown out a whole lot quicker than that.

What if he just plain can’t run due to an obvious lack of constitutional eligibility?

I think the constitutional question will come down to can he serve, not can he run. I know it's a nuance, but one that a lawyer can exploit.

So, a judge may hold off on discovery until after the election, because if Obama loses then it's a moot point and doesn't need to be addressed.

If Obama wins, then it might create a constitutional crisis, which would put it in larger hands than this judge.
