Will Sen. Joe Biden be dropped from the Democratic Party ticket before Election Day?
Television pundits, talk radio personalities and blogs have been buzzing with speculation about a last-minute VP switch for the party.
On Fox's "Hannity & Colmes" last night, Sean Hannity asked Gov. Ed Rendell, D-Pa., "Will they replace Biden with Hillary?"
Rendell replied, "No, absolutely not. Joe Biden is here to stay. Next vice president of the United States."
However, according to recent polls, Biden's popularity is not as high as Republican vice presidential nominee Sarah Palin. Results from a CNN/Opinion Research Corp. national survey released yesterday have Obama and McCain virtually tied – Obama has 49 percent while McCain has 48 percent. But Sarah Palin has surged ahead of Biden on popularity with 55 percent to his 44 percent. Her favorability rating is also 6 percent higher.
Following Sen. Joe Biden's recent statement that Hillary Clinton might have been a better choice for Obama's running mate, a popular online trading exchange website is taking wagers on whether Biden will be withdrawn from the ticket.

Imagine how this would play. Biden withdraws due to health problems after the HUGE deal they've made about McCain's supposed bad health. It would demonstrate a very high degree of ineptitude on Obama's part for picking him in light of his medical history.

Good point. Hillary’s debt doesn’t exactly help BO, does it? Good. I like Biden. I want him to remain to the end. He’s perfect for a race like this— the strangest election in the history of earth. We even have Louis Farrkhan talking about BO being the messiah, and the mother wheel. A comic script writer would kill for a plot like this.

I forgot to mention that things are moving too fast to figure out how much bias remains in the contracts. Liberals have plenty of bias, but when it comes to their OWN money, suddenly they start pulling their cards close to their chest.

Knowing shrillery she’ll tell Obami she wants the job then refuse to take it after Obami dumps Biden? Why? To help defeat Obami so she can run against McCain in 2012. She’s got a decent chance providing McCain fails to get anything much done in four years. Which the rats in Con-gress will make sure is the case.

As for the Sarah slams, I didn’t hear them myself. But checkers has been getting it around that he had called Sarah Palin ‘white trash’. An entire list of accusations.
I’m not surprised [sad to say]. These are things that I did hear listening to his radio program:
Savage mocked the Reagan funeral. He also mocked Ann Coulter in a brazen manipulation game to get Drudge to mention his book. He gloated when Drudge did post his book’s ratings during his show. I was pretty ticked off. Ann Coulter is a catalyst who, IMHO, has accomplished more than Savage. He tried to make Coulter out as being slutty. [Common knowledge that Drudge really likes Coulter.]
I’m glad I can listen to Mark Levin instead.
