Is it just my local cable tv company, or is the ABC sound not synchronized with the lip movements?
If this is national, it's really unforgivable.
Agreed, but my 11 year old can edit better than the ABC jokers did. The cuts were absolute hacks.
I watched the interview. Charlie was a condcending jerk that most of us women have to put up with daily. This interview will only increase SARAH PALIN’s popularity. He cared nothing about her responces and didn’t even want to hear them. He is a SOB!
My boss treats me just like Charlie treated her.
ABC needs to be contacted.

I’ve worked in TV news and the way that interview was edited was a complete abomination.
A supposed top-of-the-line network news organization just put on a piece of edited footage that looked like it was done by volunteers at a community access channel.
Just watch any of the news magazine shows on the networks, they have smooth, slick edits between questions and answers.
The way this interview was presented was a complete travesty.
She obviously didn’t give them any ammunition from her words, so, they did everything possible in the editing process to make her look bad.
I am absolutely appalled and disgusted.
I bet the left wingers spin her as confrontational. I didn’t like the way she kept saying Charlie’s name. She was definately nervous...no doubt about it. Her best answers were about energy, Russia and reform. As the interview went on he started pushing issues in Iran, Isreal and Pakistan. Then came the dreaded Bush doctrine question.
I think she did okay. He came off as a asswipe. Also, I’m very suspicous of the editing. It was blatant.
Are you watching in HD? That happens on some HD broadcasts with my cable company.
My impression was that she was nervous or tense, but not defensive. I didn't see the whole piece, just the end where he was asking about missions into e.g., Pakistan w/o Pak's approval.
Even being tense, she didn't "um" or "ah." She gave a decent answer. Gibson was trying to get a "yes or no" inappropriately - because mission decisions are always contextual.
Reset your cable box.
How do you expect her to come across when she knows the enenmy is right in front of her ready to strike her down with any mis-step. She and I am very upset with such talking down to as if she has no opinion even when asked a question.
Nah... at least a three bagger.
sorry to agree. am not a lib. was happy yesterday. not happy at all today.
She didnt know what the Bush Doctrine is, even I know that.
They should have kept her locked up reading briefing books, not making stump speeches.
The speeches were great, but the rest wasnt. She should have been prepared to address lack of foreign policy exp. Everyone knew she would be asked,
she could have said “It takes certain traits...like toughness, ability to talk to different people etc”, instead she filibustered. Even the question about whether she had met a foreign head of state. Sure, an obnoxious question, she could have said that she meets all kinds of
big shots in Alaska....etc
horrible.
I’m madder than I have ever been this entire election.
THAT WAS DISGUSTING THE WAY ABC PRESENTED THAT INTERVIEW!!
That is an issue with your cable provider or local broadcaster.

It comes on later for me, but I saw some clips posted on ABC site. Seemed that Charlie is asking questions he would never ask Obama. I’d like to see SOMEONE hammer “The One” about his lack of experience, which seems to just not matter in his case. Why is this only a question the media cares about with Palin, but not Obama?
Nah... at least a three bagger.
Ok. But with a head-first slide under the tag.
One edit was so rough that you can see Gibson's Head position change dramatically in a nano-second. I've seen better stuff on youtube.
the editting was awful...evident where is was cut off.
he came off as asking questions so he could have a see...you are not ready moment.
I realize she needs to be ready, but some of the questions he asked, I would have simply said I guess it would have to depend on the total circumstances.
I have direct tv and it was like a cut and paste job gone bad.
