IT'S OVER! John McCain has broken a psychologically significant barrier in Michigan. The fact it looks tied is unimportant. What matters is he took the lead. That will have the Democrats panicked.

McCain being this close is very bad for the Obamanation
To: jerry557
Like you said, a lot of undecided. Plus, a large margin of error. That said, you got to like that McCain is pulling away from Obama with the INPs and the overall trend that this speaks to.

Holy smokes! I’ve been waiting for Pa to turn red, but Michigan beat them to it!
To: jerry557
As much as I would like this to be true since I was born and raised in Michigan, this poll doesn't look right. It has McCain's largest support from 18-29 and Obama only getting 77% of the black vote.

This is bad news for Obama since if Michigan goes Red, he also stands to lose MN and possibly WI. And what about PA? He'll have to throw lots of money just to keep what he has now. I love playing offense!

Obama is probably about to throw Biden under the bus. That “stand up for Chuck” gaffe was priceless.

If Obama has to fight to keep MI and PA, he is is in real trouble. McCain is solidifying OH and FL.

The internals are interesting. The young people are abandoning Obama in droves and he's getting only 77% of the black vote? Its really over in Michigan, baby! No way he can carry the Wolverine State with those kinds of numbers.

It would be great to think that 23% of black voters are feed up with liberalism after the way Michigan’s been run into the ground by them. Maybe not the case, but we’ll see.
