IT'S OVER! John McCain has broken a psychologically significant barrier in Michigan. The fact it looks tied is unimportant. What matters is he took the lead. That will have the Democrats panicked.

"IT'S OVER! John McCain has broken a psychologically significant barrier in Michigan." You got that right! The psychological significance is huge! The mere thought of McCain/Palin taking blue states away from the Democrats/Obama will be devastating for them. We haven't even begun to see what true panic is like for them. Can you imagine their reaction if we take Pennsylvania by a point!

As a former ‘Michigander’ I stay in touch with old friends and neighbors there and they tell me they are voting McCain/Palin. Plus, those who work with Af-Ams say that they seem to have been largely Hillary supporters and are either switching to McCain or (being disillusioned) planning to sit the election out.

Rumor mill has it that Bill Clinton is meeting with Obama right now in New York. Looking for a cite.
