Obama poked fun of McCain and Palin's new "change" mantra.
"You can put lipstick on a pig," he said as the crowd cheered. "It's still a pig."
"You can wrap an old fish in a piece of paper called change. It's still gonna stink."
"We've had enough of the same old thing."
The crowd apparently took the "lipstick" line as a reference to Palin, who described the difference between a hockey mom and a pit bull in a single word: "lipstick."

I’m sure that’s true, but no doubt McCain made it clear to Palin that this sort of thing would happen should she join the ticket. She is tough enough to handle it with grace and civility. Must make the left absolutely insane.

In order for the DNC to kill its DLC village, it had to kill its Obama village?

I think Mrs.William Jefferson Clinton has been slipping B.Hussein's cook some beef tainted with Bovine Spongiform Encephalopathy (aka Mad Cow Disease) prions.
What other reason can explain B.Hussein's brainrot, where he keeps uttering stupid stuff, punctuated with more stammering and stuttering? Inevitably, his motor skills will diminish, and he won't be able to stand for election.
Mrs.Clinton, for the good of the party and the worldwide village, steps up to assume the nomination, and voila, her nefarious and calculated plan has come to fruition.

I’m sure that Obama was referring to the McCain/Palin policies rather than the individuals. However, he said what he said, and I am more than willing to hoist him on his own petard and use it against him in any way possible.

No one is claiming that it is an original comment. Delivered 5 days after Sarah Palin gave her speech with her “lipstick!” punchline, it is a direct reference to Sarah Palin as a pig.
