Amie Parnes reports from Lebanon, VA:
Obama poked fun of McCain and Palin's new "change" mantra.
"You can put lipstick on a pig," he said as the crowd cheered. "It's still a pig."
"You can wrap an old fish in a piece of paper called change. It's still gonna stink."
"We've had enough of the same old thing."
The crowd apparently took the "lipstick" line as a reference to Palin, who described the difference between a hockey mom and a pit bull in a single word: "lipstick."
Yeah right! He talks about lipstick on a pig and an OLD fish stinks. It had no context in the speech for anything other than insulting Palin and McCain. He knew who he was talking to. He likes to throw red meat lines to rile up his audiences, then groves the next day how they are taken out of context!
This man is quite the uniter.
Disagree!
We have to go after Obama tough and hard on this outrageous remark.
What? Just a coincidence that Sarah had a “lipstick” line in her winning speech; and that evil Obama had a reference to “lipstick” in his speech today?
Don’t you believe it! The pig-lipstick remark was cold and calculated.
AND IT BACKFIRED BIGTIME!!!
you do know what team she play with don’t ya? LOL
We’re doing it for McCain. McCain needs to be the leader that he is and not remark at all.
Ah let it go. The pig comments are bad enough. Shouldn’t have to talk about that stuff with your MIL. Don’t let the Obamanation’s remarks drag you there. Besides, if she’s 76, I’m sure she’s heard most everything. :)
“I can’t get to the point of being offended by it because I can’t get past how stupid it was.”
Ouch!
The more I think about it gidget, the more I am convinced that it’s not his line.
Nothing the guy says or does is original or his own since he started losing. His handlers saw what happened to him when he was left to his own devices and asked to think on his feet. It was a disaster. The tire inflation solution to energy policy, the punished with a baby line.
I bet you he even objected when they told him to say it, but he was overruled by his puppet masters. I almost feel sorry for the guy.....almost.
It doesn’t matter who wrote it, him or his speech writer. The man said it. And the man needs to be a man and take responsibility for it.

Oh - another thing:
On the national radio news this evening, they read a story put out from the snObama campaign saying “the election has nothing to do with Palin... this is about whether snObama or McCain should be president... Biden will be taking on Palin.” [Oh it is to laugh!]
The very next story was the clip from the snObama speech about the “pig with lipstick” and snObama directly talking about Palin! Talk about illustrating what is going on! I really couldn’t believe it was national news! It coulda been a talk show it illustrated their absurdity so perfectly!
Sorry for the double posts but I keep getting server errors.
I noticed that switch in his diction...on the word “policy”. He pronounced it “poli-say”, and repeated it three times in a row—right out of the Jeremiah Wright handbook.
Time for a rerun. For those who don’t understand the kind of slime obama is:

Smart ass knew exactly what he was doing and so did the audiences. Look at him grinnin’ away at how slick he thinks he is. So people doubt he was going after Palin?
