I wonder how much he did pay for that convention? There sure was a lot of flash and he actually used two venues and each had it’s own backdrop. That had to be expensive.
The Republicans, on the other hand, chose a simplier, most assuredly less expensive approach to there convention. I think they got more bang for the buck!

Am seeing very few Obama ads in Washington state and a lot of McCain ads. Polls show McCain is closing in on Obama.
Also, very few news reports on Obama; and his “invitation only” event in Michigan had very few attendees.
I’m guessing the internal polls and the smart money know his chances of a victory are going down the toilet.
Can he do that?!!! I thought there was a time line for accepting or denying govt. funds.
Money is a momentum thing.....no one wants to give to a losing proposition.
I’d hate to be Obama and have to go out and raise large sums this week.....
soon he will be like “ uh uh I am not spending taxpayer money like McCain, but I’ve decided that I need it, what? deadline? thats unfair!”
As a plus all that extra money McCain can’t use goes to
support other Republican candidates, that spells coattails.
