"Organizers of the Republican convention demanded that a group of young Republicans take down their "Build The Fence" signs, a reference to a border fence to fight illegal immigration, while at the Xcel Center last night."
Regardless of party this is an elite class issue that doesn't like paying what Americans want, and loves the ease and quiet serf(ish)ness of illegals. "They're SOOooo polite and quiet, and I asked our gated community's armed guards and they say there is never a problem with the little darlings!"
Are you suggesting that border security and the problem of millions of illegal aliens (who are criminals in violation of U.S. law) present on U.S. territory shouldn't be "a big deal"?
The fact that you immediately resort to calling us trolls is very telling.
But it is a clear supression of free speech.
How stupid!
These are YOUNG ENERGETIC CLEAN CUT REPUBLICAN KIDS--their footsoldiers they need-- who will be the grassroots POWER of the get out the vote movement on election day...manning phone banks, walking endlessly with door drops, rallying other students, putting up signs, driving old grannies to the polls (and getting high school credit!!;-) ....and the "Control Room" (which ever morons THEY were) at St. Paul, just crapped in these fine young kids' faces in my opinion. Is this stupid or WHAT!? I got more angry the more times I saw that video.
Probably done at the behest of Juan McAmnesty.
This is the standard pro-illegal alien/open borders conduct for which both McCain and GOP Big Tent RINO Central are notorious. It is but one of this cabal's problems along with a host of others (e.g., CFR, LOST, SPP/NAU and so forth).
McCain pissed away the conservative base and is desperately trying to reel us back in (see, e.g., the Palin appointment). He may recapture a few, but he isn't going to see much more than that.
I have not changed my mind on McCain. I simply don't trust him.
To the esteemed founder himself.
I guess they, these sharp, nice American kids, just went a little bit above and beyond "the script".
He won't be able to bury his head in the sand much longer as the issue is bound to come up during the debates with both sides vying for the Latino vote. McCain said he heard our cries and will protect our borders FIRST which is double talk. The fact the sign couldn't be displayed and he used the phrase "we're all God's children" when accepting his nomination speaks volumes. That same phrase was used when he was pushing amnesty and condemning Americans who opposed it.
Why would conservatives want to wait until after the elections, after giving up our sole bargaining piece (our votes)? And, with the next House and Senate elections two year away, that's more than enough time than is needed to bring forth amnesty and all sorts of other Socialist garbage. And it will take even less time if the Democrats hold the Congress.
Yes, it is stupid. There is only one God-fearing Christian running in the Presidential election, and it happens to be a woman.
Let's pray that God will use her mightily - especially since we men have failed so miserably in fighting the fight that she has undertaken.
Interesting turn of phrase when deriding our stance on illegals. Or, can't you see the irony?

My thoughts exactly.
Serious, AmericaninTokyo is far from a troll.
One of several problems I have with McCain.
ELECT SARAH PALIN V.P.
Deborah is good too. I was thinking more of Esther. For such a time as this. Esther 4:14. We know what happened to her enemies.
I don’t believe for a minute that McCain would change his tune on this AFTER he’s elected, Palin, or no Palin.
We need to hold his feet to the fire NOW, and well into the future, at all times.
Why does everyone find this to be so unreasonable? Is it no longer in vogue to be concerned about these matters?
I drank the Bush kool-aid once upon a time (well, the Bush I and Dole variety as well...), but I can no longer do so.
I believe it is our DUTY to to hold these folks accountable. It is imperative to do so not only after the election, but BEFORE.
I drank the Bush Kool-Aid in 2004 on my first vote, but then I grew up and learned the error of my ways.
It is quite a video. Very telling IMHO. Conservatives cannot afford to be ostriches on this thing, lets force their hand and force it early. Before we get into debate season. They had better secure the base and disavow these types of shenanigans.
I already suggested to Freepers that if they are pinged to go to a McCain and particularly a Palin rally, that they bring not only those partisan signs, but also "BUILD THE FENCE" or "NO AMNESTY" and get up front and center. The ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION issue MUST be brought back into the campaign as strongly as it was there in January/February/March 2008 until McCain clinched the nomination and it got waylayed.
