They were at the convention. A saw a few “No Amnesty” signs.

I just attended the MI rally. I’m sorry I didn’t think of it.

I think that someone should get with Laura Ingraham and tell her to ask. She was a Mitt supporter and huge in the fight against Illegals.

So what do you think will happen to your “MAJOR issue” if Obama gets elected?

That all depends on whether we plan on laying down and taking it. I don't.

McCain hasn't even won the presidency and already he's surrendering.

Heads up, GOP surrender monkeys! You've just gotten another taste of things to come. Just keep telling yourself that he'll listen to Palin (NOT!) and everything will be all right.

The sign represented no dissent nor disatisfaction.

It represented difference from the message for that evening. It would have been portrayed as dissent and dissatisfaction by a MSM eager to do so.

The campaign has every right to tightly control the message. I don't think it would have done anyone any good to have Gov Palin's (or whoever's) speech interspersed to cuts of that sign followed by detailed discussion by the MSM panels on whether the GOP was anti-immigrant or not.

Hi Nana!!...idea....Have Terry Anderson bring this up on his show on Sunday night, Nana! He speaks to an audience of millions.

Maybe he could make the "Horriblest Clown of the Week" the faceless "CONTROL ROOM" at the GOP Convention that told nice, patriotic, pro-border type kids to take down their simple, unoffensive anti-illegal signs.

Lets save this fight until after we win.

Ma'am, with McCain-Palin you're NOT going to win...you just won't lose as badly as you might with Obama-Biden.

These are YOUNG ENERGETIC CLEAN CUT REPUBLICAN KIDS--their footsoldiers they need-- who will be the grassroots POWER of the get out the vote movement on election day...manning phone banks, walking endlessly with door drops, rallying other students, putting up signs, driving old grannies to the polls (and getting high school credit!!;-) ....and the "Control Room" (which ever morons THEY were) at St. Paul, just crapped in these fine young kids' faces in my opinion. Is this stupid or WHAT!? I got more angry the more times I saw that video.

No, they're snot-nosed little pissants, the track of the diaper still fresh on their patrician bums, who should do anything their psychotic Uncle John asks of them. How dare they question McCain? Don't those little pukes know he was a POW and a war hero???? For five and a half years he didn't even have a banner to hold up!

{/sarcasm}

Clairity: “So what do you think will happen to your “MAJOR issue” if Obama gets elected?”

cripplecreek: “That all depends on whether we plan on laying down and taking it. I don’t.”

No kidding.

If Obama gets elected, there will also be a Democrat majority in Congress, maybe even a filibuster-proof Democrat Senate. They will have complete control of the country, and will also create a liberal activist SCOTUS, by installing liberal activist judges to the left of Ginsburg.

Are you telling us you prefer a DEM TAKEOVER of the nation, rather than a McCain/Palin presidency?

archive, bookmark and make copies of that video....the RINOs, I would not put it past them, might try to get that of the web. it seems to only be at that website. if legal, copy the audio as well and send to talk show hosts to replay. Nana, i will see about copying for Terry in a wav file and then sending to him for nationwide radio show on Sunday.

“I drank the Bush Kool-Aid in 2004 on my first vote, but then I grew up and learned the error of my ways.”

So now you are planning to vote for Obama?

McCain pissed away the conservative base and is desperately trying to reel us back in (see, e.g., the Palin appointment).

Any conservative who thinks McCain will listen to Mrs. Palin any more than he did GW Bush is a fool. His entire life's history shows that once someone has outlived her usefulness to him he discards her like a dirty diaper.

The sad thing is that these people who say that we want to “stay on message” or “appear united” have missed that fact that we make the message and will only be united by that message. Not by some political organization that simply takes our votes for granted and tells us to shut the hell up.

There’s a reason I’ve started to call it the Grand Old Politburo.

This was a convention to nominate McCain/Palin, and show Republican unity.

You mean just like the Nuremberg rallies?

Please explain how does helping to elect Obama with a Dem Congress is going to accomplish that?

Interpret it however you want. I really don't care what you think and will be sure to make my voice heard loud and clear.

Whoa! I like those young men. Nice, clean cut, intelligent, well spoken, all American boy next door types. There is hope for the future.

Sooo, “the control room” told the secret service to have the young men take down their sign. What is this, Big Brother? McCain/Palin better step up to the plate on this issue.

What do these people think Obama will do about the border?

Absolutely nothing more than McQueeg, but GOP officials will oppose an Obama amnesty. When McQueeg proposes amnesty they'll happily submit to whatever he wants, which is why he'll be more effective at advancing The Left's agenda than Obambi ever could.
