Yes. Check the link. It is from the New York Daily News. They dug up some old family photos. The whole series is quite cute.

The first thing I thought when McCain introduced her was that she looked like one of those eyeglass models.

Those are interesting stats.

I heard today that 4 fewer networks carried Palin’s speech. So that made a difference, too.

Yeah, Obama has been campaigning for 1 year and 9 months to get that many voewers.

Sarah Palin has been campaigning for one week!

The polling gap is closing precipitously!

Now THAT is the "money" statistic, right there.

Palin drew almost 4X as many women as watched the enitrety of the DNC charade.

THAT, my FRiends is gonna leave a REAL mark on November 4th.

I predict a mind-blowing LANDSLIDE for the GOP ticket; perhaps as bad for the Dems as the election returns in 1984.

I sat, during that evening, with a few friends, and -- completely in spite of pre-election hand-wringing about "Oh, it's gonna be a tight race", and "The Reagan campaign is really going to kick to the wire, and it'll still be a dead heat" -- I watched as state, after state, after state went to the GOP column.

[Sidebar: The GOP were the blue states, back then, on whatever network I was watching]

The LibDems, and their MSM stooges will not talk about it, becauuse they simply don't "get it", and -- consequently -- the attractiveness of the GOP candidates to everyday American folks will be seriously understated in all media coverage, and will not become apparent until the returns come flowing in after the polls close.

I really do think that, with the selection of Palin, McCain has, in effect, thrown five aces on the table, and all the Dems camp can do, now, is sit in stunned amazement with a stupid, plastic grin on as their Full House goes up in smoke.

The media's obsession with attacking Palin has given Obama room to breath and regroup. Before Palin, a great deal of the focus was on Obama’s mysterious past. I hope the Republican ticket can shift the public’s attention back to Obama’s inexperience and shady dealings.

McCain MUST use Obama’s temple in an ad. It would be just too perfect and too easy.

That’s an awesome number considering, as I heard a couple of people on TV mention, that Sarah’s speech was carried by 4 FEWER networks than Obama’s. Just think how many viewers she would have had if the same number of networks carry Obama’s, had carried her speech!
