Who Am I?

I am under 45 years old,
I love the outdoors,
I hunt,
I am a Republican reformer,
I have taken on the Republican Party establishment,
I have many children,
I have a spot on the national ticket as vice president with less than two years in the governor's office.

Did you guess?

I am Teddy Roosevelt in 1900

So is the War on Terror. America must never, NEVER, decided who is worthy of the office of president based on the disgusting morals of terrorists, or anyone who would do us harm.

If you don’t like the ticket, don’t vote for it. Better yet, start publishing articles here on FR that submit Sarah Palin is unfit for the job. That’ll be something unheard of, now, wouldn’t it?

Yes and no. I believe the US sentiment is being flaunted by the 3rd world countries surrogates. ;)

Seriously though, have you ever had to put on a hajab? Ask permission to speak? These people find women vile. That would remove all options of negotiations.

There are offices in NYC that work on behalf of the Ukraine. There is a surrogate in Lawton, OK that works on behalf of the Phillipines and I believe we have supported negotiations with/and or on behalf of India. The others, I don’t know off the top of my head.

Without repeating the details, which you can find in my other posts here, the phrase you are looking for is “necessary and proper.” Not just necessary. The proper way to do a number of the things that TR did (and PLENTY of other Presidents, so don’t think I’m singling him out) was to amend the constitution. Ain’t happened. It’s a problem and we’ve ended up with a Federal government that now controls (directly) 20% of our GDP and indirectly (via regulation) perhaps another 10% (and not including local and state governments). One thing to remember about TR, was that the media (at that time the big newspapers) were as much in the bag for the Republicans as today’s M$M is in the bag for the RATs. Indeed the Panama Canal was Teddy’s ditch, as a Columbian, whose property Panama was before the US supported a rebellion so as to get our hands on the land for the canal. If Mexico (or any other country) did the same to us, we’d still hate them to this day. As to CMH, it was awarded in 2001, 100 years after the events in the citation. Compared to what other recipients did to earn the medal he got it cheap.

Showing strength to 3rd world countries has nothing to do with copting to their morals.

Do you have a problem discussing issues for elections? Cause whether you agree or not, gender is an issue. Not one imposed by us, but a real one at that.

Then I'm sure you'll be voting your conscience this election.

Yup, Teddy Roosevelt is more like it. Teddy inspired the Teddy Bear in America’s heart. Sarah will inspire the Barracuda Webkinz playset.

.

.

Here’s how I’ve been bumping Palin/Obama threads.

Sung to the tune of “Oh! Susanna, don’t you cry for me.”

“Oh, no Bama, please don’t lie to me... for I’m off to Free Republic with a laptop on my knee.”

I come from Minnesota with my laptop on my knee;
I’m goin’ to Free Republic my true love for to see.
It rained all night the day I left,
the weather it was dry;
The sun so hot I froze to death,
Obama don’t you lie.

Oh! No Bama, don’t you lie to me;
I come from Minnesota,
with my laptop on my knee.

I had a dream the other night,
When everything was still;
I thought I saw Obama dear,
A-coming for The Hill.
The smearing lie was in Duluth,
The tear was in his eye,
Said I, I’m coming for the truth
Obama don’t you lie.

Oh! No Bama, don’t you lie to me;
I’m off to Free Republic,
with my laptop on my knee.

I fight in my pajamas,
It’s plain for all to see.
I aim to be the next Buckhead;
The media all hate me.
I fell in love with Sarah
When my sister bit a moose.
The Guvnor’s family ate it up
And then they set it loose.

Oh! No Bama, don’t you lie to me;
I’m off to Free Republic,
with my laptop on my knee.

She loves her sons, she likes her guns,
and Trigonometry.
The media will jump the shark
When Juan makes history.
Well, JimRob knows she’ll pave the trolls
So controversially,
And Berg will knock Obama down
With friends of Hillary.

Oh! No Bama, don’t you lie to me;
I’m off to Free Republic with a laptop on my knee.

I soon will be in Hawaii,
And then I’ll look all ‘round,
And when I find his birth record,
I’ll fall upon the ground.
But if I do not find it,
This Freeper’ll surely die,
And when I’m dead and buried,
Obama don’t you lie.

Oh! No Bama, don’t you cry for me;
I’m off to Free Republic with a laptop on my knee

The issue was raised during Reagan's administration. Jeane Kirkpatrick was Ambassador to the United Nations. She reported that Islamic sentiments never affected her ability to fully function in the Middle East.

She found that it was her position and not her gender that guided the attitudes. Much of the anti-female posturing was (IIRC) in her words,"windowdressing". She was treated as a full equal. When they dealt with her they were dealing with the United States.

Mid East men view women as haram. How does that work?

They see woman as weak, unable to think on their own, and certainly unable to act on their own thoughts. However, once they (the ME rulers) get a little schooling in the hands of a strong, intelligent, take no prisoners woman, they lose sight of the fact that her plumbing is different.

The disrespect they have for women is overshadowed by the respect they reserve for the strong.

“These people find women vile. That would remove all options of negotiations.” Calpernia

Good. People like that needn’t be negotiated with, they need to be destroyed. We are America, we do not conform to the ethics of our foes and allow them to dictate who we elect. Many people think of anyone not white as being less than fully human, should we never elect a non-white as a result? Many people feel that anyone not of their religion is ‘vile’ and less than human. Does this mean we should elect a Muslim to accede to this cultural prejudice?

What a recockulous argument.

You are twisting what I said? Why?

We have acted as surrogates of those countries to bring parties together, support negotiations, back positions.

And your pictures of Rice doesn’t support your argument. She speaks on behalf of the USA with a male CIC.

A large amount of those countries you have listed have ad the USA act as their surrogates.

and Rice speaks on behalf of the US Just as Vice president Palin will speak on behalf on the US, are you so brainwashed by muslim men that you think a woman can not be respected?
