Showing strength to 3rd world countries has nothing to do with copting to their morals.
Do you have a problem discussing issues for elections? Cause whether you agree or not, gender is an issue. Not one imposed by us, but a real one at that.

The issue was raised during Reagan's administration. Jeane Kirkpatrick was Ambassador to the United Nations. She reported that Islamic sentiments never affected her ability to fully function in the Middle East.
She found that it was her position and not her gender that guided the attitudes. Much of the anti-female posturing was (IIRC) in her words,"windowdressing". She was treated as a full equal. When they dealt with her they were dealing with the United States.
