One thing we DO know...there will be no abortions here...
We should all be thankful of this.
The mistake of her pregnancy is nullified by her decision to keep it (IMHO).

i am not very proud of my freeper friends on this thread. lots of ammo for DU to use against us here. it is sad, really.
Well said!
I would be very interested to talk to some of the parents of teenagers who can claim that there children are perfect.
The Palins are handling this in the most public way with a level of dignity that we should all aspire to.

I agree with you guys. So much of what I’ve read about the Palin’s daughter on this thread, I didn’t believe existed with Conservatives. I thought narrow mindedness, intolerance, rigid thinking, were laughable stereotypes pushed forward by the left to lampoon ALL conservatives. Guess there is some truth in stereotypes.
I’m not saying that what Bristol Palin did should be shrugged off or treated as nothing. But to verbally stone her and her family for this is beyond anything that MY Savior would approve of. The Palin’s daughter made a horrendous mistake that is going to change her life forever. It’s a huge deal. No doubt about it. Her days of youthful fun and dating etc. are gone. But she’s handling this with responsibility, maturity, and from what I’ve seen, more grace than many on this thread have shown.

What I meant to imply was that the future of America can be affected insofar as which ticket is elected. I bet you agree with me when I make that clear!

I answered all your questions and then some. You obviously didn’t like my answers, so you’ve repeated yourself all over again. You obviously don’t like losing debates. Tough.
You want to continue hyperventilating and throwing temper tantrums, I can’t stop you. Carry on. LMBO

I felt that was the worse slur I could toss at you without being banned by the moderator. ;-) Really, think about how God tends to use our mistakes to make us better people if we will acknowledge our errors and turn to Him. Bristol appears to be doing just that. And she is definitely doing the right thing for this alive unborn child, so the dnc effort to exploit the issue is already backfiring, big time. [BTW, if one of Romney's boys had impreganted a girl outside of marriage, he would get the same congratulations from me for supporting the birth and loving his kid unconditionally. This is not a political thing, except that it is instructive of how values effect the political scene.]

I’m not going to bother wading through all of the replies, but tell me, has there been overwhelming wailing and gnashing of teeth on this thread over this “bombshell”?
Teenage girl gets pregnant, unfortunate, but not uncommon. And it in no way shades how Governor Palin will handle the office of Vice President. That she won’t be trying to force the girl to slaughter the baby SHOULD be viewed as a good sign. Wonder how many fail or choose to ignore that?
So let the drama queens over at DUh get worked up over this, Freeps should know better.

The mistake of her pregnancy is nullified by her decision to keep it... Exactly!
The way this will be handled will be with understanding,
compassion and love....and it will only make Palin's star
shine brighter than it already does!
I love that McCain supported nominating her, though he
knew about this beforehand. There is no sexism or
discrimination in his decision!

Hey, you can raise your kids with good values, but that doesn’t mean they always listen. As they say...sometimes sh!t happens. I am sure that McCain new prior to picking her as his VP.
