You can be sure that if anybody in the Old Media or a Demodog dares to directly ask her a question about “what the VP does”, that she will have a very pointed and cogent answer that will make them wish they hadn’t asked her!
I have never said that I'm not voting. I'm just not voting for either McCain or Obama, because they're both slimy liberals.
Well, thanks for that.
I'm also not a Ron Paul supporter as was alleged by someone. ;-)
Alright, I'll try to keep it civil here. I can't speak for the other side, though.
And I usually don't call people trolls; I generally try to leave it up to darkwing104 and Old Sarge to make the call.
One of the truly outstanding things about Sarah Palin is that she didnt get where she is by hitching her wagon to a powerful man. Her accomplishments are her own.
Yeah right, now you have a nice day.
And your point to all this is?
... the following issues:
1. Amnesty for Illegal Aliens
2. Carbon Cap-and-Trade system
3. Embryonic Stem Cell Research

Be a man, not a legislator here - in November there will be a choice of TWO tickets for President:
McCain/Palin OR Obama/Biden
You have to choose, not just vote “present” or be a no show. Which of those two tickets are more aligned with your philosophy or is more likely to be able to be persuaded to consider your concerns. I know neither ticket agrees with you (or me) totally, or at all. Those are the two choices. Like it or not, there is no other.
Each of us “have to be a man” about this and make a decision (even if you are a woman).
Nagin wants credit for all that’s good and runs for cover with media sssistance from his own idiocy. But there is a huge difference between the halfwit Blanco and Bobby J.
We are seeing the grooming of future Republican leadership in all this. I am very pleased.
Blanco. Remember back to then and how badly the Rats wanted to impeach Bush with the flimsiest BS reasons. Now consider how badly he wanted to intervene and save lives in NO but he was constitutionally prevented from doing so without the governor's request.
Imagine if he had overstepped his authority. They would have had a genuine reason for impeachment, and IMO that's what they were trying to do. Failing that, they could unjustifiably blame him for Rat inaction.
For the record Miss Marple posted something like this in real time, Katrina time.
Absolutely,she owes no one,self made.
It really is a good one,two smart ladies IMHO.
You are a bit of a bit of a wonk w/all those initials that nobody knows?? At least you can complement McCain for pushing the Surge and the success of the war...right??
Pray for W Mav/Palin and Our Troops
I realize Sarah Palin will temper her views to those of John McCain, just as every VP does to one degree or another. I heard Dick Chaney comment, awhile back, that publicly he had to agree with the president but privately they had more than one heated discussion on issues.
For example, with Sarah Palin, we have a chance to change John McCain’s mind as to drilling ANWR. I know she can, and I believe she will, make the case as strongly as anyone could possibly do it. With Obama, forget about any chance of drilling ANWR. I believe McCain ‘will’ listen to her before making policy decisions, which is a heck of a lot more than we can expect if Obama and Biden are in office.
My biggest hope is the DC culture and federal system does not destroy her or alter her current views. If she can survive it all, she really does have a better than even chance of bringing more conservatives together and becoming the first woman president in our history.
For the record, Miss Marple was not the ONLY person on the Katrina threads who loudly and repeatedly said the same thing.
How right you are and it shows when you hear her talk.
