The debate is over. The Democrats can never again claim they are patriotic. Who would ever throw a brand new flag in the trash? Answer: The thousands of Democrats at the Obama convention.

Darn straight on both counts. I don’t want to hear about ONE flag in the trash at the RNC convention. If McCain shows these photos to his convention hall, then he not only mocks the rats, he also reminds the RNC conventioneers how disgusting it is.

Tragically, people have been allowed to desecrate our flag. However, I think it is still illegal to evacuate in public. He should have been arrested.

Did Democrats throw them in the trash or did the people cleaning up the place? I seriously doubt the delegates cleaned the place.
The people in charge of the convention were ultimately responsible. Showing respect for our flag had no priority.
