I love REM but this is such a stupid statement. Why does everyone want to leave the USA when their candidate does not win. I am not leaving the USA if Barak wins...this is just dumb thinking!!!

Thank God for celebrities’ political opinions. I just don’t know where I’d be without them. Celebrities are just so, you know, important n’ stuff, especially when it comes to important issues like politics and, like...um, world hunger. I’m so glad they tell me how to vote cause I’d be so totally screwed and helpless if they didn’t.

(grin!) Or more accurately, I’m up early. It’s 22h14 on Saturday in New Zealand — my day started two hours ago. I’ve been keeping odd hours these days. I’m good for another 16 hours or so, then church then bedtime.

Asked what he felt it would mean for America if McCain wins the election, Stipe smiled and said: "Well I'd have to move to England". I just wish that jerks like Stipe would actually keep their promises to leave this country. But, as with all leftists, Stipe is lying, just like the others who said they would leave if Bush was elected. He was elected and reelected; they did NOT leave, liars all! Given how the Clintons "dumbed down" morality in this country, lying is a virtue in the leftist Democratic party.

If you notice, none of those America hating celebrities ever left. They can’t make a living anywhere else. Hypocrites.

Yeah and none of them have ever left. Well maybe Johnny Depp but I think he was already living in France at least part time when he made the threat. Don't recall ever reading/hearing anything about him giving up his American citizenship though.
