Sarah Palin is currently the Governor of Alaska and assumed office in 2006. She is also the first female governor of Alaska.
We are confident Sarah Palin will make an excellent Vice Presidential candidate with John McCain and we congratulate her on her impeccable record of public service!
Cynics will say McCain picked her for two reasons: the name rhymed and she’s a woman.
I fully expect the hypocrats to say that. Trouble is THEY will have to explain why THEY picked the wholly unqualified inexperienced minority in FAVOR of the more qualified female.
Anybody know if she has been to Iraq or Afghanistan?
She is a role model for my daughters...a strong conservative woman...who likes to fish, hunt and is PRO LIFE. Thank you John McCain...my apologies for doubting you.
Because she has the most executive experience of any candidate in the field, which is the only relevant experience. Also, she is running for VP and their inexperienced candidate is running for Pres.
Some here have posted that she was not a dynamic speaker and campaigner.
I think her results speak for themselves. Goodness; two principled, consistent, hardworking leaders on the R side of the ticket, what a contrast.
As someone from her town, can you comment on how she might do on the campaign trail (or shall I say, ‘trial’) and the debates?
it will mean nothing to them... they won't vote conservative no matter what... they are very loyal to their party that way... they would rather vote for a stodgy old chauvenist pig...
CNN is just as bad. Two black anchors were trashing her regarding the "legislative investigation" about her firing the state police commissioner.

She’s got the same amount of experience as the Democrat nominee for PRESIDENT! I don’t think Obama’s people want to ‘go there’ in pointing up her inexperience. McCain is ready to step right into the Presidency, without any experience on the part of his Veep. Obama had to choose someone with the experience of Biden, because he DOESN’T have that experience on his own.
